Since this bull run has started we've spent a maximum of 12 days below the main channel before reentering.  The last time we floated around below the main channel we moved back up in within 4 days.  Current price movement puts us entering back into the main channel today or tomorrow.

More quality meme material in the making. WO will be flooded when Bitcoin hits $100k in a few months.

You mean like this?

I guess I should stick a BTC logo over the circle.

I'm looking for anything that could represent bitcoin "certificates" or bills or something, some sort of design or artwork for paper wallets. There have been a few but none I really like. Something like "bearer certificate", that somehow conveys the importance or value of the paper other than just saying these are the keys to corn worth a xx dollars.

It is just for cosmetic purposes as a true paper / metal wallet is simply just the seed words or the private key on it.

Wow! I was not aware that such a bill existed! Good for brrrrrrrrrr... Should save some paper. But no, it's based on gold, and they don't like that.

More rare banknotes and backstory.

Yeah it's a joke atm... Lazy "Robinhood" fiat investors buying every fraction of a rumor on one side, on the other side banks & corps enriching themselves thanks to the Bitcoin they still despised hardly 3 months ago. Bah.

Makes it easier to gain a bit rapidly, but it's not what I would call morally acceptable. Also, Bitcoin was created against banks and corporations, not to make them richer.

For tax purposes I was thinking of forming a charity. My thought being a long term charity (so I can set up a charitable remainder trust).

The charity idea I have is the promotion and facilitation of helping businesses to accept bitcoin at their point of sale.

I think if every business in the US were accepting bitcoin (lightning payments) then eventually the only need for dollars would be to pay taxes (which could also easily be paid in bitcoin using a third party service, perhaps a non-profit I set up as part of the charity). The only reason for the US dollar would eventually only be a way of the government keeping track of their balance sheet which would eventually need to be expressed in terms of bitcoins instead of USD. Until finally there's enough political pressure for the government to just switch over to what the rest of the country is using for payments.

The charitable remainder trust would be investing the funds into bitcoin. This allows bitcoin users to donate at peaks to get their tax break while still being invested in bitcoin. Their payouts being in dollars over the course of years or decades to themselves or their children.

Currently there are not charitable remainder trusts that invest in crypto.

That Gamestop run up was put together by a Reddit group.  They set out to wreck all of the shorts that had been set.  They succeeded.

The guy who put it together pulled in $11 million from the run up.

Well hopefully everyone involved in the short squeeze made money.

I believe some (perhaps many) of these mega short positions were naked, and if so, deserve to get squeezed. The Wall Street/Mega Institution corruption in the markets must be challenged and rooted out.

Well played.

I think Gamestop price went up because people figured out the Gamestop trick for getting gas with bitcoin.

You buy Gamestop gift cards, then you go into Gamestop and buy a gift card for the gas company.

Boom, you just paid for your gas with bitcoin.

At least that was how it worked about 8 years ago. Maybe people finally started reading old blogs.

Aren't you dollar rich, now ?

Everything is relative. We have enough to live happily ever after.

With this ranch Rick and I are looking to buy, I've decided I'm going to try for "eccentric interracial gay couple builds private race track, cattle pasture, slaughterhouse, corn farm, apiary, Citadel, and private airport in the middle of Nowhere, TX" levels of lunacy, to dip my toe into that whole experience.

EDIT: Also, gonna build fucking terraces everywhere, goddamnit.

If i was in Robinhood mgmt shoes, I would go IPO and/or SPAC myself this very moment as it would "never be so good as now" TM
Look at that GME and TSLA.

Strangely, Robinhood craze did not really reach our shores yet.
Perhaps it would manifest itself after coinbase/bakkt/etoro IPOs/SPAC mergers.

About Japan and inflation, keep in mind Japan is a very special country. All the kinky stuff aside, Japanese people own a majority of their stock and bond markets, on top of lots of assets in other countries. Then large companies are run like families, where layoffs are minimized, etc., and employees are very loyal. Then there is the fact they're not making children anymore, and there is no immigration. Many factors that can explain the low inflation despite printing money.

Yes that. And there's other factors that create such a low inflation (stagnant) environment there for decades.

If there is no real wage growth (salaries are capped or stagnate), no population growth, and the supply chain of goods/services is controlled in such a way that prices don't change much, then guess what, you don't have more fiat Yen chasing less goods/services so you don't get more main street inflation. At all. The banks just keep buying up more and more debt, and none of the newly printed fiat gets down into the pockets of the Average Joes and Janes. People there make just enough money to live and get by, and that's about it.
