I didn't stop to consider that channel liquidity would get locked up in other channels, after redistributing the wumbo (~0.17 BTC) liquidity with LOOP.

TBH, the only reason I established a wumbo channel with LOOP directly is to see what would happen, and, well, I guess I've now discovered what happens to all that liquidity - it just gets spread around to other channels that needed it.

Might throw another coin onto it, but don't have a burning desire to expand out any further at the moment. Top 500 is good enough for me; just fucking around.

I'll sleep on adding more coin or not in the morning...

EDIT: Might experiment with a couple wumbo channels with LOOP, set some retarded fees that would be extremely lucrative for me, and will see what happens.
EDIT2: ... in which case, might want to add my node to the exclusion list when submitting loop in/outs so as to avoid my high fees?

I don't want to split off too much into COVID-19 politics - It's funny how polarized I was prior to being infected, and now having undergone the experience and gained natural antibodies, I'm way more zen about things, and almost feel a sense of sincere fear for vaccinated folk.

Not anything silly like "Oh, they are gon' shed some shit to me, or dey gon tink ima kill them with muh natural antibodies", but more specifically with Antibody-Depedent Enhancement ( https://www.chop.edu/centers-programs/vaccine-education-center/vaccine-safety/antibody-dependent-enhancement-and-vaccines )

I'm genuinely concerned that "vaccinated" folk may apparently be at higher risk for contracting mutations due to the trojan-horse effect. I hope this isn't the case, as many friends I know are immunized, and I wish them no ill will, and pray they do not suffer any ill side-effects.

I am highly against people under the age of 21 being vaccinated, if I could wax political for a moment...

Israel largely single-sourced (and over-payed for) vaccines for their population and completely missed the heart issues 'signal' which is now afflicting 'the nations'.  There are recently a lot of 'we are sick too!' things coming out.  As usual, it is advisable to take EVERYTHING one comes across in cyber-space with a grain of salt, and apply a series of logical filters to it.

I have never had any kind of test so far. I can’t even. I’ve worn a mask on a couple of occasions, but mostly retain to asking other people to take them off.
Now it gets very interesting with the passports, as this “divide and conquer” strategy goes into effect.

Almost smashed a guys face the other day. He was so full of it, that I had to react. He thought he was doing his job, telling me that two outdoor tables side by side are not the same, and that I needed a passport and ID to sit in one of them, whilst not in the other. Of course I decided to fuck right off, and go elsewhere. Surprise surprise! Indoor, outdoor - it did not matter - because the later bar owner had a strong political tooth.

So surely the $million question remains whether bitcoin will still end up springing back to something like the S2F model in spite of strenuous efforts (and a lot of resources) striving to invalidate the S2F model.  I am surely all in agreement with you in terms of identifying that there are some likely high stakes traditional manipulators that feel that they have quite a bit to lose based on bitcoin success and ongoing success so they are willing to NOT pull any punches when dealing with bitcoin manipulation and to throw a lot of resources at such "problems," yet in spite of such spent efforts, what's going to happen?  Will bitcoin revert to something like S2F .. or perhaps S@F gets shifted downwardly on its curve projections a wee bit, but still does not invalidate S2F - beyond appearing that it is invalidated in the short term or even for one or two 4-year cycles and then at some point when we look back at the whole matter instead of doing something like what S2F had projected, we end up having a 1/3 performance level that resembles S2F, but really does not invalidate it beyond the need to shift the price projection curve downward by the necessary amount.

The S2F model is an interesting theoretical model based on looking at past data and projecting the future. But at the end of the day, that's all it is: a projection model. It could end up correct, or it could end up broken at some point.

The problem I'm having is all these noob acolytes treating it like a self-fullfilling prophecy, and a religion. They buy a small piece of bitcoin and sit on it, waiting for their delayed lottery ticket to strike a winner X months down the road, all because some chart has "promised" them that a certain price will come true by a certain date. Like that is a 100% certainty.

What happens when things don't turn out like they were lead to believe? Will they all lose their shit, sell at a loss and become nocoiners again?

We all know that eventually the bitcoin price will rise to new ATHs. It's not a matter of if, but when. Because ongoing money printer go brrr and massive inflation is here to stay. That should be the guide that most investors follow, not some chart projection. It's a long term, lifetime investment.

I feel quite the opposite for a few reasons, the lesser reasons being how many people I tried telling about Bitcoin even previous to 2017, how many I told to check out this forum, how many I told that they could suck their GPUs on crypto and make a bit of crypto change (that would now be worth massive amounts)..

And mainly because I did not come upon my crypto by having the privilege of having disposable income to simply buy in with, rather I worked my ass off to stack sats, easily a thousand hours, in multiple ways to gain a few satoshis here and there, from spending many many full days on exchanges watching for trading opportunities, watching multiple exchanges for arbitrage opportunities, watching new coins coming on the market, watching for volume hits preceding pumps, being in with what communities were interested in (or shilling)/where the sentiment was..

I worked my ass off for what meager amount I have been able to accumulate, had the balls to HODL almost everything I have ever been able to accumulate, have been able to resist temptation to sell to buy a house or an expensive car or fancy luxuries I am accustomed to living without, still to this day..

I have absolutely zero sense of “I don’t deserve this”..

Even things I have got “lucky” on weren’t scammy and I feel good about them..
