I gave my mom 10 BTC a while back for her birthday and she sold it when the price jumped to $1000.
Exactly goes to show how little anyone appreciates how much efforts and will power it has taken for many of us to hold our bitcoin for so damned long... it's all free money when receiving a gift, including the snot-nosed brats that likely do not deserve to get their grubby little unappreciating hands on such bitcoin... There surely may be some exceptions to this general principle, but not too many exceptions. speaking of returns I wrote a small piece on the latest hip trend https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5364329.0Should'of, could'of, would'of. Is bitcoin going to be dead in 10 years ? Maybe, but thats a very very very very low probability. So the math says to buy and hold. There is no other trading strategy that works. Maybe 1-2 or 3 bitcoin is more than enough honestly, people are already starting to talk in terms of sats. You fucking dweeb shill... You provided a link to a shitcoin pump... .one of the unique ways of leading yourself into getting posts removed from the WO thread.. pump shit. [edited out]
That imposture syndrome suggestion is beyond my understanding, though. Whoops.. I misspelled it. Impostor syndromeIt's just the idea of feeling that you do not deserve all of the luck/fortune that is upon you.

I would probably have felt like that when i was younger. I learned that it's ok to receive, not only to give (- of which the opposite i was taught). #nohomo If i'd feel the need for an outlet of fuckyou-rich status, i'd make donations, even maybe put up a foundation myself. Low IQ would accompany this sell attempt
This dip for ants? Ants are only causing trouble when appearing in masses Yesterday i was thinking about opening a leveraged long position until december, but i would have to pay taxes for closing it within 12 months Just make it 80x. The taxes won't be a problem, I promise.

Aside of the PUMP, did you all see this coming by looking at the hourly "world computer" (aka Vitalik's coin) chart? Seems like ETH harvests are flowing back into BTC, finally
I saw some passing activity on Whalecalls on ETH liquidations and transfers that I was largely dismissive of (Need to add "ETH" to banned words, damnit, thought I did that...) earlier, but nice to see a correlation being noted.
OMG mindrust is back and quite active in that thread! He has become an anti-vaxxer and a conspiracy theorist... something tells me he will be wrong also this time... He's absolutely NGMI. Just gotta sit back and laugh, TBH. DEF GONNA HFSP YO.
Sold 0.01 at 54.9k Will sell some more at 57k
TBH, I have some corn ready on the exchange, to quickly realize low 7 digits USD fiat if need-be - Have been loaded since last time we tested $50k. Thought about taking some profit now just to take some "pressure" off, and recognize when I need to airquote the word pressure, it's probably because of the pressure I'm placing against myself to take some profits right now, knowing the upside is well back within the S2F projections, which are honestly starting to scare the shit out of me. At this rate, it's worth it to ride out the volatility for another couple months before deciding on any action. Very strange position to be in. Locked and loaded, but not wanting to pull the trigger. I should not complain too loudly. Very blessed. yeah I am not in your league. But I was very fortunate the other day with my small pool mining at mmpool.org https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=559011.0We hit a block after 4 years of mining (small pools do take 1 year or more to hit) I picked up a nice piece of change. Very much an exotic way to buy and hodl or dca. So selling a bit of it is fine.

That imposture syndrome suggestion is beyond my understanding, though. Whoops.. I misspelled it. Impostor syndromeIt's just the idea of feeling that you do not deserve all of the luck/fortune that is upon you. Apparently, I misspelled it. I wouldn't. I would probably have felt like that when i was younger. I learned that it's ok to receive, not only to give (- of which the opposite i was taught). #nohomo If i'd feel the need for an outlet of fuckyou-rich status, i'd make donations, even maybe put up a foundation myself. In the end, what are you able to take with you, when you have to leave the one life? Let's say that hypothetically you come into bitcoin with already existing assets that rise to the level of some kind of reasonable fuck you status, but you still have concerns that some of your income sources could either dry up or have some kind of potential issues.. so maybe you come into bitcoin considering that bitcoin could serve as a hedge or perhaps allow you to get to double fuck you status if everything plays out well and your bitcoin investment does well. So largely you are projecting to stay in fuck you status, and you are projecting that your assets would continue to grow as a kind of hedge against a variety of status quo system fuck ups. Bitcoin ends up bringing you to some kind of status that is 10-20 times higher than fuck you status (even accounting for inflation and various other shenanigans.. so even 10- 20 times higher than any kind of level of wealth that you had been expecting.. including that you had never thought that you were living poorly.. you had been living a good life.. and then you have 10-20 times more than expected, including more potential assets and profits coming from that. You do not really know anyone in your circles that have that level of wealth, and you do not feel any different from any of those others - but you know that your wealth is something in the ballpark of 10-20 times greater than the richest of those in your circle.. and maybe even 100 times greater than the normies and regular people.. Additionally, you are not really expecting your wealth to stop growing.. even if you started to spend like a drunk sailor, you consider that you have a lot of cushion that allows you a lot of freedom beyond entry level fuck you status or even 2-3x fuck you status but something in the ballpark of 10-20x fuck you status, as you had previously been contemplating such fuck you status. So in that regard, you could feel a kind of impostor syndrome because you ended up achieving way more than any of those people in terms of level of wealth.. That is the kind of framework that I am considering for the hypothetical person who resembles no one that I actually know. You fucking dweeb shill... You provided a link to a shitcoin pump... .one of the unique ways of leading yourself into getting posts removed from the WO thread.. pump shit.

The question is: how much money an average person actually has? Maybe not so little to call it almost nothing. Looking at Fidelity in US (of course, having an account there means that you do have some money). Posting averages, not median (median is smaller). 20-29 years old: $12K 30-39: 42K 40-49: 103K 50-59: 174K 60-69: 195K (small increase due to starting distributions, probably) https://www.nerdwallet.com/article/investing/the-average-401k-balance-by-ageTL;DR people have not an insignificant amount of money after ~45-50 years of age. Bitcoin changes this, of course...but you can see where you would have been (on average) if not for bitcoin, etc. OR a good luck in other investments, inheritance or card games .
