I was thinking about Zuckerbergs new metaverse, wouldn't that make it possible for them to/users to collect/upload enough information to create a autonomous personality that can live on after the person dies.
That way you can still "communicate" with your dead friends and loved ones.
That would be pretty cool.

Is communicating with the dead the reason they chose the name Meta (means dead in Hebrew) Mark Zuckerberg being from a Jewish family would obviously know this.

Didn't know that, interesting.

If you believe in things that you don't understand
Then you SUFFER!

Nah, I really don't see it.

Neither does he.....  (pa-dum PISH)

Just for curiosity, what kind of music do you like Arriemoller?  Of course there are many cultures/languages/geographies represented here in the WO..

A bit late reply, I know.
I like many types of music. Marches, accordion music, heavy metal, rocknroll, disco and more.
It's more about the particular piece than the genre for me, but I do not like jazz, it (sometimes) literally makes me have the same reaction as nails on a blackboard.

Examples include

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1yAIp56oj3A&list=RD1yAIp56oj3A&start_radio=1

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DbqOQZnzu-0

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gt_Se7BtSQg&list=RDGt_Se7BtSQg&start_radio=1

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FFyHukBkmFY

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QAzESJ62irI

And last but not least Anders Flanders, the one man band. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HHm2CGMXGW0

Hey Arriemoller

To get over your dislike of Jazz check out the easy to listen to and classic piece recorded by The Dave Brubeck Quartet - Take Five. Joe Morello performs IMO one of the best drum solos I've ever heard.

I will play this when BTC arrives at and punches through $100k, it will add to the elation at gentlemen.

Thanks, but I'm done trying to understand jazz, had a girlfriend in the 80s that played instruments and went to the school of arts here and stuff, she tried very hard, but it just doesn't work for me.

Many years ago, my younger brother opened up a coffee shop.  It was hard going at first, many unforeseen expenses and problems so I helped him out... a lot.  He lived with me rent-free and I would help out in the shop on my days off work.  I loved everything about it except the constant Jazz music in the background - I really wanted him to play something else but it was his shop.  After a while, I didn't even notice the music at all but then when he decided to sell the business and become a wage slave again (less stressful for him I'm sure), I found that I missed a couple of those Jazz tunes and every once in a while pull some up on Youtube for a listen.  I's pretty sure Jazz was invented as coffee drinking music.

So you're predicting $252TRILLION market cap for a shit coin hardly anybody has heard of? Really? 252 times the market cap of BTC? Timeframe? (Why do I even ask? This is nonsense)

I take my financial advice... and I always take my crypto advice from my 'shamans' / 'spirit talkers' ... or wtf u want to call them.

I can't give you specifics. But there are 2 factors, that 12 thousand dollars are not 12K (devaluation). Think of it when BTCiTcoin is a few million, Litecoin is 100K, then DigiByte is not that special at 12k. Smiley  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes

And the second factor is to look at BTCiTcoin dominance as a 4ever downtrend thing. (The problem with BTCiTcoin is that people will look at it like looking at a sick man with many diseases and no one wants to take care of him. Smiley ) (People will just start removing themselves from being politically involved with the same currency that the banks and other shady entities (like governments) will pretend to hold dear.)  Grin  Cheesy  Cheesy

Bitcoin in a way is the Dollar 2.0 when looking at the dominance chart long term. It will always diminish its dominance. Smiley  Roll Eyes  Roll Eyes

Oh my!!!! you are either retarded, nearly retarded or just a retarded wannabe.

In other words, if bitcoin were to get up to a few million, it would thereby have more than a $50 Trillion marketcap.

You are suggesting that it is no big deal that your currently chosen shitcoin would have 5x bitcoin's market cap at that stage in bitcoin's life (perhaps 2-3 more cycles from here?  and could you even hold your shitcoin for that long - presuming that it were to begin some kind of upward's trajectory at some point?).

Your other statements regarding bitcoin being on a downward trend contradict your earlier statements regarding it going up, which in other words just cause you to be a largely incoherent illogical goofball - trying not to insult goofballs too much.. I know that there are some guys who do not appreciate the use of the word goofball - but whatever, substitute clown if it make uie pooie feel moar better.

By the way, I find it quite likely that you might have been able to accumulate a few bitcoins at the time that you registered on the forum in 2016.. so maybe your few thousand dollars could have gotten you 10 bitcoins.. .. but your ongoing demonstrations of dumbness shows that you likely had not been able to make money.. and if you got lucky in making money, you are quite likely to have been giving it back too in your likely desperate attempts to strike any kind of get rich quick coin... .. which causes you to engage in the level of spinning your wheels dumb that we discuss in regards to shitcoiners and no coiners.

Just consider that acquiring 10 BTC in 2016 with a lump sum of around $6,500, and then fairly modest dollar cost averaging investing of $50 per week ($200 per month) would have gotten you nearly another 5BTC for another $13k over the subsequent 5 years-ish, so you could have had around 15 BTC in total for a mere $20k investment.  i doubt that any of your supposed shitcoin investments have come even close to those kinds of returns.

The future is likely to be similar in terms of the best of investments to remain having solid bitcoin investment techniques rather than getting distracted into a variety of nonsense that motivate get rich quick mentality rather than sound investing.

What happened to savetherainforest?

I can't recall a specific post, and can't be bothered to look for one, but I do remember positive things about him a long time back...

Mindrust event?
Shitcoin GRQ trap?
Tinfoil hat / alien conspiracy influence?
NWO / end-of-days revelation?
Tesla Coil experiment side-effect?

So sad. So pitiful...

I value freedom of speech.  As a natural right, and as a value in private conversations like this one.  Obviously this is a moderated thread, and off topic things can rightly be removed if Mr. Info so deems.

And Jay (or whomever) can lamabst the things they thing are stupid, like shitcoin talk.

And *personally* I think a little shitcoin talk is acceptable.  Within reason.  Particularly insofar as it intersects with Bitcoin mechanically, price wise, or in some other way.

And if someone wants to call someone else a "retard".  Well... I find that to be childish, and in generally bad taste.  As we are equating a stupid opinion with someone with mental defects, which is not really fair to those who suffer from that condition.

But, that too... is, I believe the right of the speaker.  And again, my right to vocally opine on as well, if I wish...

However...

We seem to have devolved quickly, and the quality of our discussion is suffering.  Just a couple nit-picks:

It has been rightly pointed out that savetherainforest is imagining a world in which digibyte could have a market cap of 180 trillion dollars.  Which is roughly TWO TIMES the value of all fiat money (both printed and on balance sheets).  That in itself is wildly stupid.  But the reasoning behind it?

Quote
Think of it when BTCiTcoin is a few million, Litecoin is 100K, then DigiByte is not that special at 12k.

LOLCOPTER.

So in other words since Bitcoin is a "few million" it means nothing that digibyte is 12k.  Funny thing about that is that few millions would have to be ~10MM before bitcoin would even be EQUAL to the market cap of Digibyte at 12k.

So obviously savetherainforest hates math.  He also seems to be OK imagining worlds in which digital assets have suddenly become worth MUCH MORE than all the money in the world.  This means he hates logic, along with math. And it is beyond a fantasy... so I would say he hates reality as well.

But calling him "retarded"?  That is not fair to people with mental disabilities.  Seriously.  It is too insulting to them to suggest they could imagine something that unrealistic.

I have a friend with Downs syndrome.  He LOVES WATCHES.  And know lots about them.  He also LOVES the Dallas cowboys.  And his Cowboys watch is one of his most prized possessions.

He would never say something so stupid as the above.

We have devolved in here... and it is up to us to try to get the train back on the tracks.  I doubt savetherainforest has any chance of being fixed.  Those ideas are so beyond ridiculous.  But at least the rest of us can try to avoid these tar pits.  Lol.

I too value the "freedom of speech".

We live in a world where there is just so little time. So often it is easier to sum things up with a "word" or possibly a "meme"...
