Who’s selling at bottom ?

Or at -38% ?

Anything from here to lower is considered very very weird to say the least

Just got a my buy $50 a day in btc going on and on and on.

I will hopefully get out of the 1-10 btc status by Jan 1 2023.

Every time I read about someone cracking the 10btc mark, I'm forced to think about mindrust. He was so proud of his 10   ...for a few days.

Please note: Not a comparison to you! I read you are mining shit for bit, and that you most likely have a totally different approach to Bitcoin than him.

If I get to ten coins by Jan 2023 I will be approaching my 66th birthday.

I would be looking to opt out of btc and the game in 2027.

So I am not dropping out like mindrust did 😊

Sure. Age and time is our most limiting factor. Even a harsher one than BTCs cap  Tongue
I don't know if you mean opt out from mining or you mean selling. But if it's selling, maybe by then you don't have to sell anymore (Matrix meme)  Cool

The Bitcoin software, network, and concept is called "Bitcoin" with a capitalized "B". Bitcoin currency units are called "bitcoins" with a lowercase "b" -- this is often abbreviated BTC.

Ultimately Bitcoin actually WORKS *because* of our limited time.  It is a fundamental requirement for the system to work at all.

All we are doing is picking a random number between 0 and somewhere around the number of atoms in the known universe.

Anyone else could guess the same number, if he had enough TIME to try.

OT: It's like they are already low-key telegraphing to the world what their next "global plan-tastrophy" is going to look like:

EXCLUSIVE IMF, 10 countries simulate cyberattack on global financial system
https://www.reuters.com/markets/europe/exclusive-imf-10-countries-simulate-cyber-attack-global-financial-system-2021-12-09/

Quote
The narrator of the film in the simulation said governments were under pressure to clarify the impact of the attack, which was paralysing the global financial system.

"The banks are appealing for emergency liquidity assistance in a multitude of currencies to put a halt to the chaos as counterparties withdraw their funds and limit access to liquidity, leaving the banks in disarray and ruin," the narrator said.

The participants discussed multilateral policies to respond to the crisis, including a coordinated bank holiday, debt repayment grace periods, SWAP/REPO agreements and coordinated delinking from major currencies.

So a world wide cyber attack crisis requires the coordinated response of global emergency liquidity (money printer go moar trillions $$$ brrr), debt moratoriums, and global bank holidays. Gee, who woulda thunk it?  Roll Eyes

Don’t think so. I am not a lawyer but that reads as “at least” to me. E.g. two feet or even no feet is “less than” three feet and so fails the “not less than” test.  I assume the point being that it shows as a clearly applied mark rather than simply happening to be a purple bit of material that was used to it make a fence.

It may be that it has become common for the posts to be wholly purple and it will be thus generally understood that that is equally acceptable.

"At least" signifies "bare minimum".

Painting posts entirely purple is absolutely legal and acceptable.

You are welcome to FAFO.  Kiss

30,000 pages and still no new forum software.
Is it that important?

Moreover, considering that in those 11 years that you have been here, you have not deigned to put an avatar, then such a trifle should not worry you much.

Here is my 2c about that "purple" posts and shooting those who went past them.
In short, it is idiotic, imho.

Why? Because it is completely arbitrary and does not accomplish what is intended.
Assume several scenarios:
1. A visitor from out of state was traveling, went to piss past a purple post. He/she has no idea, thinks that it is some kind of a decoration-bam, wham. Not exactly the same, but in Florida a nice Japanese student visitor was killed through the door when he was simply participating in Halloween celebration.
2. A local drunkard drove his truck past the "signs", went out to do #1 as well...bam..wham!

In both cases, those who do the shootin' would be dragged through the courts, charged with manslaughter, and even IF they prevail, it is DEFINITELY not worth it if lives were not REALLY in danger.
Protect the property? Well, bears and rabbits shit on your property daily with no recourse..well maybe they got shot too from time to time, which is fine.

Additionally, assume scenario #2 happened. If the guy/gal who was shot in this scenario was also local, you would NEVER be safe.
His or her relatives...they got 'them telescope rifles as well, don't ya think?

Who’s selling at bottom ?

Or at -38% ?

2-3 year hodlers are more or less officially responsible by looks of blockchain data at least, so the $3-14K buyers more specifically.

Anything from here to lower is considered very very weird to say the least

Unless you rigidly trade time and not price, then this is your moment to sell (a month early imo), and regardless of the drop I guess. Otherwise, probably others intentionally selling at a loss in order to reduce taxes, before buying back 1 week later, prior to January changes.  It's weird I agree, but otherwise expected there will always be some taking (very late) profits, while other weak-hands are being flushed out.

At least the 6-12 month crowd *might* of finally stopped dumping, as short-term hodlers (<6 months) continue to accumulate unabated.

Ironically on-chain data looks 10x better than it did during the $40K dip, or the crash to $30K even. Probably a coincidence though Tongue
