Just re-ran my scientific models. The price of bitcoin will not sustain more than 3 consecutive days above $20k for the rest of the year. Next year there is a 96% chance that the price will not sustain 10 consecutive days above $20k for all of 2023.

With the US government sitting on a massive pile of BTC that will be auctioned, the mtgox funds still hanging over the market, the eth2 coins yet to be unlocked, and now FTX being swallowed by Binance as it liquidates it’s holdings… the market looks again like 13K in 2023 is a realistic possibility. A few days ago it looked like FTX was going to launch a stablecoin and propel the market. Today it looks like they’ll be responsible for the next leg down.
