2. An alternative possibility: In 2014, Mt Gox went out on Feb 24 when btc was at $546. Initially, btc was not affected much, paradoxically, but eventually went down to $175 within about 10 mo. Therefore, if FTX=MtGox (which is probably not the case), then the bottom would be 10 mo away (by Sept-Oct 2023) at a horrific number that i don't want to post, but you can do the math. I currently give 10-20% chance to this scenario.
For me it seems irrelevant to compare with the 2014 situation, especially regarding the timing. We had the ATH in december 2013, it seems logical that we didn't get the final bottom 2-3 months after (in february or march 2014). When Mt Gox went out in 2014, we were approximately at "only" 50% down from the ATH. A the same time BTC did x100 up on 2013... Mt Gox or not, regarding the different cycles, BTC will have continued to fall during (the whole?) 2013. With your example, it mean we would get a Bottom almost 2 years after the previous ATH, or even 2,5years after if we consider that the bullish cycle ended in may 2021 (as we did a double top).

"A picture is worth a thousand words"Bitcoin Yearly Candles This years candle looks like such an obvious bear trap. We could spring back to 30k+ before the end of the year. Unless we end the year on a fat red candle, I am staying optimistic.

In the 70ies, there were at least 3 peaks and valleys in inflation. I expect us getting down now to 3-4% area, then re-igniting again; we should be done by the end of the decade. Max (official) inflation could be anywhere between 10 and 15%...eventually, but before this , I expect a bit of QE pumpage (maybe in 2023, but most likely in the first half of 2024). All of this should help btc in 2024.
I think you would be right if this were the 70s. And you may STILL be right. But in my opinion this is an attempt at a controlled demolition of western (and world?) economies. I do not know if it will work. They tried it in the 70s and failed... mostly. I am an optimist... so I think they will fail again. But one thing gives me pause. AI

Some facts about XRP in 60 sec https://twitter.com/TheCryptoLark/status/1598376467125178397?t=P9OkYYr-sJx5xfY2gOb3dQ&s=19Key Takeaway from Lark Davs video are: 1. XRP is fast and super cheap. 2. The ledger is run by a selected group of validators (defiantly its not decentralized) 3. The Parent company Ripple has been engaged in a lawsuit with SEC since 2020, one reason why price of xrp is down and adoption is slow. Edit: This is not about promoting XRP rather telling its not a decentralized one.

Do it looks like I am promoting a coin by saying its not a decentralized one and is engaged is a law suit with SEC? Try to read things before jumping to conclusion.

What you wrote about that shitcoin is nothing new at all... We could fill up the whole WO with facts about the shittiness of shitcoins.. You wanna explain the shortcomings of the remaining 20k shitcoins as well ?
