Wow, UK's a real shit place huh?

UK law enforcement will be able to destroy a crypto asset if returning it to circulation is not conducive to the public good. Privacy coins, for example, are a form of cryptocurrency that grant an extremely high degree of anonymity and are often used for money laundering.

I guess when they "destroy a crypto asset" they will burn it / destroy the keys... and thereby enrich all other holders... yeah... great idea

St. Peter's Basilica, Vatican City.

That's easy.

At least you're having better weather than us here in the UK.
Autumn started in October and still hasn't ended it feels like.
Mental. We have had 1 day of decent weather since: 13th of April.

Netherlands same shit weather, couldn't handle it anymore.

Packed my bags and traveled to Rome.

Haha if still there in May…. Going same direction myself…

It makes more sense to use the even-more-anonymous fiat for money laundering, but sure, lets blame privacy coins. After the government has stolen- I mean confiscated your privacy coins, I am sure the world will become a safer place for banks- I mean the public.

So chart Buddy is temporary out of commission
The thread felt weird when I checked it and realised I couldn't see Buddy's chart.
I missed him though.

For the public good?
Yeah privacy coins are going to cause an apocalypse once in circulation
Would the victim if not guilty or charges be compensated?
Or they sacrificing their funds for the safety of humanity.

It feels like the market is getting a little complacent. I’m not even obsessively checking the price anymore. Strange considering we’re so close to the all time high. I think that’s bullish though. People are settling in to this price range as normal not knowing we’ve been eating through supply and the inevitable rocket launch is on the way.

As a miner must I check what pools are licensed?

I don't think so.  It would be provable that the sats sent to you were proceeds from newly minted block rewards - I can't see how they could possibly imply money laundering in this case.

So you're saying they'll make Monero more scarce by burning them once confiscated?

Allow me to highlight the word "crypto". Without that, they'd have to burn any fiat money they confiscated from criminals, because fiat money has a high degree of anonymity and is often used for money laundering.... Oops Tongue

Is this new? I'm pretty sure they've already seized funds from servers without arresting the suspects.
