I am hoping that we hover around 750 for the next 3 months. It would benefit the next rally if the Bitlicenses and regulation was good to go, instead of having a mini rally, and another one after regulation comes.
I think regulation is the blockage for companies like Atlas ATS, Circle, Buttercoin, Coinsetter and all of the other ones that have been all talk and no show so far.
Since they got millions in investments, they would have to spend alot on marketing campaigns to bring volume to their businesses.

I also have one btc stowed away. In the format of a ticket for the btc1k party. It's in a corner, almost forgotten, has been accumulating dust for a while. I wouldn't mind using it before Xmas this year.

There is a good chance that the price will be 5k on the day of the btc1k party.

There is a good chance that the price will be 5k on the day of the btc1k party. So the ticket to the $1k party was $1k (as you will only get to use it if Bitcoin reaches $1k again). That's quite pricey for a party ...

No. Just consider it as a lottery ticket. If bitcoin will never reach 1k, you lose the money you spent on that bitcoin (say $650). If bitcoin reaches 1k someday, you still lose $650, but you get a party ticket of >$1k

The problem with this is that lottery tickets are very unlikely to be worth so much. Bitcoin are very unlikely to be worth so little.

Think about it.

Tickets are 1 BTC and the party only happens if Bitcoin stays over USD 1K for 30 days. You could buy a Bitcoin and exchange it for a ticket any time. The higher the value the more extravagant the party. Ticket price is discounted at the moment. You can hold Bitcoin and only pay when the party is triggered.

I think there should be officiated boxing matches between combative forum posters. It would send them all away with new perspectives. I can't imagine they'd be very impressive fights though.
