Sorry to break the party, but there is too much optimism/bulls in here.. Terrorist using BTC = Bad Image for Btc. It will be a good excuse to impose stiff control by govts/banks on VC exchanges/services. More bad news for Goxers: www.coindesk.com/leak-documents-suggest-mt-gox-paid-200k-parent-company-may/In other alarming news, the documents, if genuine, reveal Mt. Gox’s remaining funds total only $7.6m – significantly less than the $38m in assets claimed in its bankruptcy application.can you link to this terrorist connection thing? https://uk.news.yahoo.com/global-jihad-could-funded-bitcoin-105333920.htmlThe US Department of Defense is currently conducting a counter-terrorism investigation of virtual currencies like bitcoin.More lows to come i'm afraid. In other news, 99.99% of all terrorists are funded by dollars. Weak, weak FUD.

China had a 25CNY slippage buy.. nice.. You rarely see such spikes on Huobi, since it has fairly good depth..

This is the latest scam. Governments confiscating all the coins. Lets guess, perhaps an auction? mmmmm http://www.reuters.com/article/2014/07/07/us-france-bitcoin-idUSKBN0FC19220140707"During a raid last week on one of the suspects' homes, investigators seized a portfolio of Bitcoins - worth some 9,000 euros per unit" ooo they had the good ones hehe

Shorty be shortin' You ain't fooling anyone! Too risky to short without a confirmed ban from the US Department of Defense report I'm patiently waiting for 400's from a crash soon

That was great timing. I had just convinced myself to go margin long at 629, then the ISIS news hit and the price dropped to 616 before I could pull the trigger.
This skittishness is cringe worthy. There is a hint of FUD, so everyone sells. There is no thought of whether the story is even important (see the auction for a great example). BTC traders need to put on their big boy pants and stop being pansies. Or stop trying to make a living from $5 profits.

And more to the point what coin were terrorist using before the advent of btc? Bars of gold?
Probably German-Marks. The German Mark was used far outside Europe, and many of these users have followed the switch to Euro's. (Or dollars, since most people will make exceptions for money) The switch to Euro's would have been the perfect event to get rid of all existing black money, I don't remember that having happened. I even read somewhere that converting all black-money to euros (unreported savings, plain money-laundering but also large criminal assets) was crucial for making the switch a success. If Obama had a switch to instantly prevent the use of dollars in illegal activities and unreported savings anywhere in the world, would he touch it? I think the result would not be pretty. It's well worth trying to minimize questionable use of a currency, but in the end, currencies need to be exchanged more-or-less without restrictions, or it isn't a real currency any more.

if you are confident take advantage of the low price, or chase the rally I know the time will come, just need to be patient. gains rarely happen overnight
