In the past, if there was some sort of insider information, would the price drop unexpectedly because "manipulators" that knew this information was trying one last time to get cheap coins before this information was released? Maybe I am dreaming here, but it could just be an attempt to "steal" a few more coins for a good price. Maybe later this week there will be news such as "Winklevoss ETF approved" or something exciting like that. I can dream can't I??? how that ETF will have any impact on price ? the contrary, investors that would go and buy on exchanges would use that ETF, the twin brothers need to liquidate their 100K+ coin somehow. I think news of an Bitcoin ETF, even if it is the twins coins funding it at first, will spur major interest. But it doesn't have to be that. It could be something else entirely. Although news doesn't seem to move the price like it used to, unfortunately. Like I said, just dreaming here. I think all the news we see/read around is the reason why we are still at this level, the November bubble came really unexpected and we were overbought in all ways, the infrastructure is just catching up to this price level, but hey I could be totally wrong, supply and demand have a strange way of working.

OTOH .... As an investor, what do you pray for? You pray for a market where the fundamentals kick ass but for whatever reason, it's not (yet) reflected in the price. And here we are.

I really doubt the volume and activity on Chinese exchanges... My concern is depth. This could get out of hand at this point... there isn't much standing in the way. We are one fat fingered f--- from a problem.

I really doubt the volume and activity on Chinese exchanges... And paper thin bid depth. Look at huobi's ltc/usd flash crash less than an hour ago. *edit* Is bitcoinwisdom reporting correctly or api bug?

I keep remembering that WhatsApp is valued at $16bn, and is a piece of junk compared to Bitcoin, valued at $7.5bn

It is quite easy to be a bitcoin bear in 2014, none of you can deny that. We're almost finished with this year and it has been nothing but down, sideways, down, sideways, down, sideways, up (slightly), sideways, down, sideways, down...
What did Carl Sagon say about insanity? "Doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results."
If you're not a bear right now, then I'm sorry, but you're just insane.
That quote is from Sigmund Freud... heard of him? And, yes... get a grip on the bigger picture.. 2014 is 7/12th's completed.. or 7.5/12ths or 15/24ths... or 5/8ths complete.. Even if this happens to be an overall "down" year for bitcoin, so fucking what?

I know... I am surprised we haven't seen movement on Huobi or BTC China... I don't know if it is people are just sleeping or if they aren't buying the price. I've never seen that much divergence between the two before, though.

Bids filled. Waited for that since Sunday Also thinking about moving funds on finex and opening some longs. I see many here are buying back! not buying back, just not yet.... the whole scene is just not convincing (yet)... feels good to be right when others calls you a troll for using your brain. Yes.. I know you tend to be selectively memory correct... How's your litecoin advocacy campaign going? I made a shit load of money out of Litecoin (still hold a couple of coins), I thought I showed you screenshots ? you butthurt you cant handle me, to be honest I really don't give a shit about what you think anymore. You like that term, "butthurt," and you seem to like to make a lot of assumptions... and to wiggle a lot and to selectively change your story a lot.... Ultimately, no one is here to handle you... b/c ultimately, you need to be able to handle and live with yourself and to be able to figure out a level of comfort and meaning in this world within your own comfort level... however, delusional, or NOT, that framework may be.
