For the fellows that still have some DOGE on their wallets, there's news for you:
http://www.reddit.com/r/dogecoin/comments/2egjqg/dogecoin_core_18_released_mandatory_upgrade/

12 September is the date! Update your DOGE-wallets.

I didn't knew we can discuss here about doge or others altcoins too.
Better we keep this thread for Bitcoin discussion.

We supposed not. I think though it's significant enough for folks who own some to know. Pardon my manners if I have somehow misbehaved and broke any principles here, I humbly apologize.

Right now bitcoin hashrate 178,578,749 GH/s . I saw 200 few days ago and Estimated Next Difficulty was %21, now %17. Someone please explain why it is unstable and actually hashrate down? Some miners turn off their ASIC?

It's just how it works. We don't know what the current hashrate is. If the miners get lucky and find many blocks over time, the hashrate will show too high. If the miners are unlucky and find fewer blocks over time, the hashrate will show too low.

If you don't think that 6 consecutive weeks down, followed by a high-volume capitulation, means that we are oversold, you deserve to sell all your bitcoins NOW.

Capitulation perhaps. But quite possibly: not the capitulation.

Keep in mind that similar arguments were made after the February bottom. And again after the April bottom. Both of which saw higher aggregate volume, btw.

Let's face it: what exactly the reasons are is unclear, or at least: disputed, but the market seems to be quite happy in continued consolidation and/or discovery of price equilibrium. Very little signs for a sustained rally - more than anything else: low volume (though I will say that the last 2 weeks look promising).

In practice this means, more (though maybe progressively smaller) capitulations could take place in the next months, if another group of holders decide that the investment isn't performing as it should in their eyes (and momentum turns it into a capitulation). Doesn't mean $500 isn't a good entrance point for the long term, but I also don't buy the idea that if you don't buy in NOW you're going to miss the train.

That is not the trendline that people were posting until six months ago.  It has been modified to make it look like the current price is still within the historic channel, when in fact is has strayed below it.

Even if the price were to fall to 300$ for the next six months, we can be sure that someone would redraw the channel to say that bitcoin is "undervalued", rather than stopped following the exponential trend.

With the thread that Chartbuddy was posting in being locked by an administrator, I'm concerned that if I started another thread for him, it would just end up locked again.

I just started a poll here. Vote if you want Chartbuddy back (or if you don't).

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=756202.0

(Alternatively, if Adam wants him back (or not), it's his thread).

I agree.

I like the way he keeps Adam's trollbox bumped every hour.

I also wouldn't mind an additional dedicated Chartbuddy thread to avoid having to search for him when the posting gets heavy.

i sold my B.Sell months ago, mind boggling indeed.

i didn't anticipate the seemingly never ending improvements in mining hardware.
