Where is the mid-week massacre we were supposed to see?

It's happening right now.

Even in the event that an attacker gains more than 50% of the network's computational power, only transactions sent by the attacker could be reversed or double-spent. The network would not be destroyed.

They have the private key encrypted and they transmit it to you to decrypt locally in client side JS.

This is how they're able to send you encrypted backup wallet files via email and such.

Interesting. So Blockchain.info actually knows the unencrypted private key?

Yes, this is the most used / trusted wallet and they keep priv key in plain text.

blockchain.info's wallet is not a web wallet

its runs in the browser yes, but its all client side JS.

Where is the private key stored?

encrypted somewhere on my computer.

They have the private key encrypted and they transmit it to you to decrypt locally in client side JS.

This is how they're able to send you encrypted backup wallet files via email and such.

thats fine.
its just a spending wallet...
lets not get overly crazy about pocket change

i thought they never ever touched the key even encrypted... oh well.

Last chance to sell under $450.  For all the traders that have been buying high and selling low, this is your last chance to loose money and give the rest of us cheap coins.

Lol @bears getting bled out on stamp Smiley

I see, you already read the picture book about market behaviors for infants where complex bearish and bullish market behaviors are simplified to a cowboys vs. indians game. You should also read the episode two about the good vs. the evil and where the one manipulator enters the game.

Picture book and fantasy finance markets!

You just reminded me - I still have 60K from a couple of years ago, I got all excited until I see you need over 90K to buy a whole BTC.

I guess anything that advances Crypto into real world value transfer use is positive though...
