In what situation would Bitcoin die?

If all of their bitcoin is held for sale so the situation will make sales panic and nobody can invest in it. Currently bitcoin is difficult to lose or not because every day invest a lot in bitcoin.

In a situation where there is some kind of apocalypse and we couldn't use our gadgets anymore. The internet and power would be down all over the world and there will be no more use of currency as we will all revert to living off the earth like in the old days  Bitcoin will go to zero when people stop buying and selling and transactions are no longer made using bitcoin again.

How and why would the end of bitcoin (and any other cryptocurrency) occur? Value decrease? Legality issues? Different technology/ideas to supersede it?

this will only happen when time comes of displacement,when we leave bitcoin behind,since this coin only relies on our support..if we stop buying and selling this coin what would be its functionality?these will die in just a split of a second whe we forget everything about its capability and reliability,though for sure this will never happen untill crypto is alive

The Internet is like a life that connects the survival of cryptocurrency. Things that can make the internet disappear like natural disasters, atomic bombs, and other things can affect bitcoin transactions. However, in essence, the bitcoin will still exist, if the internet re-connected, and the transaction will be back on.

I think Bitcoin will be replaced but not in our time, because now Cryptocurrency is just developing maybe this will happen in the next few decades ....
Why did I choose to be replaced? because it is not possible Bitcoin value or rate can plunge and run out ...

Bitcoin dies if the users are totally out in the market and demand is zero balance.And if there is only one could replace or die bitcoin is that much more strong and more advance than bitcoin have.That is the only situation which make bitcoun die.

Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency as a whole follows the law of demand and supply. If no demand will exist proportionate to the supply which is too high, possibly price will go very down or even at worst, be idle. Like it never existed. But if we are to talk if it can be killed, only through quantum technology, which at the moment, does not yet exist.

When bitcoin's price gets lower and lower and when it does not rise up anymore, then it will be a great reason for bitcoin to die. Many people may refuse to use bitcoin if it happens, they will think that even though they invest a large of money, they will have no earning in their money because the price of bitcoin is really low. I think bitcoin will not die as long as there is an Internet.

Technically, there is no way to ban bitcoin. As long as someone USES bitcoin, bitcoin doesn't die.

I do not think it's because of the internet factor, but because of the user factor, though bitcoin can not be destroyed but if all the users leave then bitcoin will die naturally, and I'm sure this will happen someday.

I think this happens because a lot of bad news that makes the price of bitcoin very down. example news from google that will remove ads about ico and bitcoin, it angat effect with bitcoin price at this time. hopefully the bitcoin soon returns to the price it should be. I will keep hodl the bitcoin and will sell when the price goes up

That's right because bitcoin's market cap and price is determined by the demand of people. If there is no demand and people stop utilizing it, then bitcoin will become obsolete and will be gone gradually.

Bitcoin will only die if its supporters are not patronizing it. Bitcoin have survived for many years because of the investors and users of it. If we did not support bitcoin before until now, maybe there’s no bitcoin. Also if bitcoin will be banned to all countries which is not gonna happen because many of countries in the world supports bitcoin. They are benefiting from bitcoin and it contributes to the growth of their economy.

When the Internet does not exist, you can say Bitcoin died. But as long as the Internet exists one day, Bitcoin will not die, it can make up for the lack of the Internet.
