I do not remember setting up any password for the wallet @ the bounty signature campaign and I can't withdraw the tokens, I bugged support for a month till I was able to login and now they tell me that "Unfortunately we are not able to recovery or reset your password." For real ? So what happens with the tokens that we can't withdraw ? I really don't get why the unspent tokens can't be burned and the bnt sent manually to an address.
Well...If you forgot your password, you should blame yourself, not the team.

Yeah fuck me, it's just the first time in my life I see that something cannot be recovered by a team who owns the shit. They own the address of the signature campaign and the bnt in it, yet they can't send it. makes sense

i feel you mate because i have the same problem lost my password and can't recover or reset, very suck

Seriously guys, passwords and seeds in crypto are the most important things! How can you lost it...  Embarrassed

I have passwords saved on encrypted offline drives and even on paper pgp encrypted back from 2003, I don't know how I lost this but I'm pretty sure I let lastpass save it and somehow it didn't.

It happened to me the same, I even didn't remember to have setup a password. But then, when I realised that I'd lose my bounties, I gave to my brain an ultimatum or else... and I've started to try to get in the wallet with all my usual passwords and possible passwords and variations on all of them until eventually after a looooong horrible time I have suddenly won the jackpot and I could access my funds. Luckily you can try infinite times, no limits. If I would not find the passwd I was ready to build an app which would try to log with millions or even billions of possible passwords. Of course, motivation to get in your wallet is related to how much bounties you have to withdraw...

I can't do that since I'm pretty sure now it was lastpass generated (tried about 1000passwords and none of them worked), no way to brute force that, I'm just disappointed that the team won't dedicate a minute of their time to restore this for me, it's 520BNT so about half btc.

Ouch! That is very very unfortunate. Quite a loss you'd have. In my case the stake was much higher so it would have been a real drama. Perhaps once the bounties withdrawal procedure and its hassle has ended you could try to ask the devs to please just destroy your wallet and to send you the corresponding BNTs manually. This is what I was thinking to do if everything else would have failed. If it works you'll owe me a beer Wink

Wish I was dumb enough to not try that but I asked them to send BNT to me and destroy/ban/ignore my BNCHDL wallet precisely 26 days ago...

Im sorry I laugh when i read what you wrote
'Wish I was dumb enough'

You look very dumb enough not to wrote down the password of your

NEWLY CREATED CRYPTOWALLET
THAT YOU CREATE USING LASTPASS PASSWORD GENERATOR.

How in the world do you think you will sign any transaction without the password later on when you create the wallet? Funny

All my passwords are safe with lastpass, this was the first time it didn't actually save a password for some reason but thank you for the comment, helped a lot.

Anyone that did proper diligence or analysis of Bancor should have known this was going to happen.  I looked into for 10 minutes and heard the words Keynesian economics, fractional reserve baking, and price pegs associated with cryptocurrencies.  Ran away as fast as I could!  For those of you who thought, "hmm.. lets adopt every failed economic scheme thats been dreamt up by central bankers and apply that to cryptocurrencies? Sounds great!"  I have no sympathy.

I love crypto, as soon as price drops, it's a scam, save yourself sell now before it's too late, etc etc etc if you have the time to scroll through the forum of bigger coins like dash, eth, ltc, pivx, the big ones, you will find there are always fudders, their goal is to lower the price as much as possible, it's not that I particularly believe in bancor or anything, but this fudding behavior is one of the most common things in crypto, it's the easiest market to manipulate, it's enough to look at btc, same fud manipulation is happening.

I got ERC20 (Ether Token) TOKEN  from selling. Why is it separate from my ether balance in the wallet?

Is that your first time with any token than this is valid question. All tokens have separate contract so they are showing in separate tab you can't mix it up with ETH.

Here is detailed guide. If you have Ether Tokens already go to step 2 - https://blog.bancor.network/how-to-trade-your-bnt-on-myetherwallet-bd91ebd78c9d

When I take my eye off of this stuff for one second, weird things happen!  Where did the price floor liquidity go?  How did it disappear so quickly?  Did I miss something?

Because you need to withdraw using smart contract. Read the everything on the page where is "bancor selling description".

Yeah you blinked. The price floor is gone mate. It got decimated real fast once it went below 50k.

Never blink when doing crypto! NEVER!

Yeah, floor was eaten by whales like cookies in few hours. Now 'the market' decides the price. GL!

What are you talking about? The whole crypto are manipulated by whales. Why do you think we are in a dump period now? If you read Bancor white paper this is what they are trying to solve: too much manipulation in cryptos. Cryptos cannot go to mainstream if these problems continue to exist. That's the reason why I think  Bancor will play an important role in the crypto market in the future. It is way too easy to manipulate on the exchange. Wait when volume is low and try it yourself.
