Yep, totally agree with your point of view. We dont need volatility. Bancor is one of the most interesting project and not for the legendary crowfunding.
This ecosystem must survive.

Is there any new development regarding the regulation and sec stuff bancor try to avoid.?
I heard Poloniex and Kraken will de-list some of their tokens due to the regulation issues. Let's hope Bancor can be the golden solution for these problems (and will not face the same difficulties)! I got this from Kraken: In order to help mitigate the strain on our platform caused by recent exponential growth, we are delisting some of our illiquid trading pairs and temporarily suspending all advanced order types. These changes will go into effect on Tuesday, August 22 around 6 am UTC (Monday August 21 around 11 pm Pacific).
The following pairs will be delisted with all outstanding orders being canceled
XBT/GBP
ETH/GBP
XRP/CAD
XRP/JPY
EOS/EUR
EOS/USD
XLM/EUR
XLM/USD
GNO/EUR
GNO/USD

Bancor is a non speculative asset in nature, because the Bancor Protocol makes pumps&dumps unconvenient. So its price will be linked to Eth until the team will deliver the real thing. That's good for investors, bad for ICO flippers and short term speculators.
What do mean my non-speculative asset? And why are pump and dump is inconvenient in case of BANCOR? Thank you It means the BNT token has price discovery algo build in the Bancor Network, which prevents from quick raise or dump of the price, like whales do with most of the altcoins on exchanges. This algo protects the value of BNT, so even if someone try to manipulate the price, it will be stable thanks to people doing arbitrage between exchange and bancor network. IMO this is desired because BNT serves as a reserve for many other tokens, generated by users and used daily (that is the plan anyway). The volatility in this case could affect the whole token ecosystem. Exactly. Moreover, speculation is typically a side element of a financial network, but when it becomes the main (if not the only) element in play, as it has been for years in cryptos, the whole sector ends up looking more like a "ponzi gambling casino" than anything else - which in the long term is not sustainable. The Bancor Protocol introduces for the first time a price discovery and stabilization mechanism, thus by reducing volatility and sheer speculation it is destined in the long term to attract the most serious investors, like for example hedge funds, pension funds etc. Useless to say how much the value would increat at that point. Of course such a huge change need time, since it's something which has to happen in the real world and not in fast moving casino. We should probably add that the Bancor Protocol would fit very well also to the financial world outside of cryptoland. If that would ever going to happen, BNT value would not go just to the moon, but to Andromeda at least. |

We don't fall under SEC regulations, so as long as we don't directly work with any tokens that are in the way of SEC we should be good. |

The more Stox will be successful, the sooner other projects will adopt the same protocol. Once it will become clear that using BNT as a reserve makes an asset more stable and trusful for serious investor, adopting the Bancor protocol may become an industry standard. At that point, Bancor will already be far beyon the moon. |

It can be seen as accumulation because market is holding and doesn't let the price to go down than some limit. Bancor having some mentioning for month of August if I don't mix it with other project. But when market will turn into bullish there will not be any chance to get on the boat anymore. |

But when market will turn into bullish there will not be any chance to get on the boat anymore. it's not a simple token, which is easy to drive on the moon the crowd purchases, it stabilizes and smooths out the process of the sharp UPS and day, but the market growth it will grow with him.... |

When other icos are making their investors 5 to 10 times in a month, will bancor take 5 years to make 5x? I am beginning to question my decision. Did I help them too much in investing in such a high cap ICO? If I wanted stable prices, I could have bought gold or real estate, not dabble in cryptos |
