Will we still get email notification if we get access to platform on our turn or we have to login to iconomi.net periodically to check if we are granted the access?

If you where an ico investor or signed up for beta testing you will get a mail. If you didn't you have to wait for public release.

x axis = price Y axis = cumulative quantity So that makes the left side the 'buy' side and the right side the 'sell' side. The point where both slopes meet in the middle is the current price. This means that if the buy side is steep and the sell side is shallow, the price tends to move up until the depths are balanced again. If one of the sides are so steep that it is near 90 degrees, this is called a wall. For the price to move past a wall, the entire wall has to be bought or sold. So the current buy wall we have is supporting the price.

I still didn't get why ICONOMI changed their original plan of distributing dividend to buyback. If Taas can pay dividend, why can't ICONOMI?

ICONOMI has become concerned about getting in trouble with the American SEC as an unregulated security. Many think poloniex will not list ICN because of this. So the devs changed from dividends to buyback-and-burn to distribute profits. This will make ICN increasingly rare. TaaS has yet to distribute a dividend. They may change plans too.

Poloniex is an US located company, that is why. I think that it was a smart move from the iconomi team, since now ICN must be listed at poloniex.

ICN would still be classed as a security. Buybacks won't change that. I think there's more going on with regards to the whole buybacks/exchanges thing. As for TaaS, I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Uncle Sam will need to shake off these laws that were written 50 years ago and stop "protecting" the small and medium investors. And I don't think it will happen anytime soon - there are just too many interests, money and control involved. Sadly that USA is one of the most hypocrite places in the world (on the macro level)

So you saying ICONOMI made this decision just to comply with Poloniex terms and conditions so that they can list icn there?. Is Poloniex that important that a crypto cannot survive without it? And then what is stopping them from getting listed on Poloniex now? If Poloniex denies to list icn outrightly, will ICONOMI go back to dividend payment?

Poloniex is not a necessity for Iconomi.
If it's listed there, it would be beneficial for both.
Did you see Round which has reached 12th position on coin market cap. It has grew over 250 times in some months. And it is only listed on Liqui. Although, this seems strange as Round is not as popular as Iconomi. Do you think these are fake trades on Liqui to pump round?

The dividend aspect of iconomi would have made it better. every crypto nerd would have slammed every icn into a wallet and squeezed and loved it till it pooped them out eth and then they would want more. Unfortunately everyone else would be doing the same thing and the price would rise like zcash cus there would be like 2 on kraken for sale. The whole trade volume is a lie eth miners on ebay are 2k +++ and they have a very low trade volume. Iconomi didnt need polo with dividend in place. Thats my 2 cents

Why do you keep bringing up dividends? Do you want the devs to switch back now so that everyone thinks their unreliable? This conversation has been had

They want dividends because to them, dividends = FREE MONEYZ!
Whereas understanding buybacks requires cracking open economics 101 to the first page.

Companies restructure all the time. They could easly say with the cofoundit or whatever split we buy back a % and reissues the dividend claus. Most likly not going to happen but... I dont see that making them unreliable. PR is in crapper. I dont remember a vote on the dividends.
