This is the only good news from the team since ages. Good job Jani and co. Btw is this news legit? any source? Source is reddit and slack Not true that this is the only news since ages. They mentioned that they own 12.000 byteballs (and not just 4,827) and it skyrockets like crazy. ICNP went from $4.5 million to $12 million already. Come on man! I grew my money in crypto ~ 5X. I am not a pro. Any decent crypto trader would have done more than that ICN team have done so far. What bothers me most is the lost opportunity cost which is not considered by anyone. They have not invested INCP money at all (only 5%??). Wetrust (3X) Databits(5X) Matchpool Cosmos BasicAttentionToken . . All the above are legit projects. None of them have been considered at all. That bothers me. Byteballs is not investment FYI. To this list, I would add another couple of projects that gave a normal increase. It is Edgeless, iEX.ec and Bcap They did invest in WeTrust, it just hasn't been announced yet. Maybe there are other unannounced investments too. They also did a fantastic job of holding and letting ICNP's BTC and ETH appreciate. Especially with POS coming up, $40 or $50 ETH will be a thing of the past, just like $200 or $300 BTC. There's a new crowdsale every week, so even if Iconomi misses a profitable one, they have BTC and ETH stashes big enough for years of ICNP investing. Do you know for certain they invested in WeTrust? Just a suspicion because of their review of it or do you know for sure? |

What do you mean? You can see the chart of the price over time there in the post. As an index fund it's price is just the weighted sums of the prices of its components. |

They aren't going to tell you what they invest in before they invest in it (or before the ICO closes), and they shouldn't. that ain't happening. if they do announce it first, then everybody will soon act like fund managers. the rest are already acting like they are pro even without the blockchain knowledge. they were poping already and doing ICOs of their own. transparency may not be possible but we could see on the platform which they were investing on. |

Announcing before investing isn't a smart move. This could cause problems because of people trying to front run them. I wouldn't do that either if I would be ICONOMI. |

It is possible that they invested in Wetrust. The reason I am considering this is because they recently made an announcement that they would be giving monthly updates. Maybe they are waiting for the month to end and then provide a full list of developments, progress and the investments they made.
I think the investments they made till now were only test investments. Now after the success of every investment they have made, they can start investing more in ICOs.
I would also suggest them to consider buying tokens after the just after the ICO when many a times price falls.

Launch of platform is really needed if they really want to get a high pump and stable price. but I don't think price really matter at this time. they are doing pretty good and I am sure they won't let ICN down. |
