There needs to be a better place to see what is getting invested in for Iconomi. I love the idea but want more transparency

They aren't going to tell you what they invest in before they invest in it (or before the ICO closes), and they shouldn't.

that ain't happening. if they do announce it first, then everybody will soon act like fund managers. the rest are already acting like they are pro even without the blockchain knowledge. they were poping already and doing ICOs of their own. transparency may not be possible but we could see on the platform which they were investing on.

Announcing before investing isn't a smart move. This could cause problems because of people trying to front run them. I wouldn't do that either if I would be ICONOMI.

Agreed i wanted more transparency on what had already been invested in. But it sounds like the platform shows that based on the comments above. I don't have access to the platform yet.

Do not worry about the guys, let's be zen and patient. I feel that everything is going well. The weak communication of the team does not pose any. The access I have to the beta me much in my idea. No apprehension. I prefer a team focused and assiduous as is the case for the team ICONOMI.

As far as I know this buyback was just a proof of concept, kind of a test. The next might not be any time soon, since the buybacks will be mostly paid for with fees from the platform, and at the moment they are very low since it's in beta and all.

I hope we will hear more about it from the Q1 report or the first monthly AMA.

Taas is definitly their competitors but ICONOMI has 2 advantages over Taas
1.They have more funds while Taas collected only 5k btc.
2.They started before Taas so they have some good investments like Golem and Bbytes

ICN are typically less affected by BTC prices If the price of BTC rises usually ICN remains stable
So whenever you can buy ICN, I agree with DomainMagnate  ICN for long term.

I am also holding my little hoard of ICONOMI for some more months and let's see if I will make some more money or less/ I believe in the business model presented by ICONOMI and I believe it has a good future, not unless something bad will really happen to push the value down in an unexpected manner. This is already a part of my little portfolio.

The backgrounds/experience (or lack thereof) of the TaaS team members is what turned me off (info from the TaaS website and their linkedins). Their lead of trading has 3-4 years of "independent/private" trading experience and a degree in film studies... I have more experience and better credentials than that. And all of the founders worked for (founded even) the same companies previously, companies I couldn't find any info for online. I asked multiple times on the TaaS thread for them to provide me with more info on their previous companies and experiences and I was never given an answer.

Also they never explain in any technical detail how their auditing method actually works, and that is supposed to be their main selling point/distinguishing factor.

Also the guy who did the interview with coininterview seemed like he had no idea what he was talking about amd seemed to have rather shady body language. The interviewer appeared more knowledgeable than their so-called expert did. Their expert didn't even know what a fiduciary was and they want people to trust them with their money...
