Yeah, one of the few crypto projects with a working platform and scaling nicely. Both in users and assets.
Filled my ICN bag, but yeah, it's a long-term hold. Their plans/success will depend a bit on regulation. But they'll be miles ahead of competitors if they can pull it off.
I think the fiat ramp might actually be the biggest milestone, which shouldn't be that difficult to accomplish in the next 3-6 months.

My biggest CONCERN at the moment is, who the hell is in charge of the ICN buy-back program as these figures are HORRENDOUS. 196.3 Eth to buy-back and burn ONLY 52,627.34 ICN??? At what dates where these “trades” done??? And by who, as a trader, they are not!!

This is not fud, as a long-term HODLer I want to see as many ICNs burnt as possible for OUR 196.3 ETH “dividend”,and this amount is a disgrace.

They got more tokens from those 196.3 eth then I thought they will. You have to consider that these buybacks were done in Q4 when ETH was from $300-$400... When they announced the rebuy amount it looked like this: In Q4 we are continuing with our repayment program using revenues generated in Q3, which amounted to $57,177 or 196.3 ETH.

So yeah, I think that they did a pretty good job in turning $60k in almost 53k ICN... If they would do a similar job in Q1 they could turn that $1M into for example 800k ICN tokens to be burnt which would be huge. I doubt that they will be able to pull it off, and I would be very content with them burning around 500k tokens.

ICN is tanking again due to the current crypto crash. However ICN is tanking more than the market (P/B down to 0.5)...
They still hold around 10 million $ in cash (https://icnhodler.com/book-value). CCP has around 1M in euro as well.

What should they do?
- Use the cash to buy BTC, ETH or ICN?
- Use the cash and their other cryptos (BTC, ETH...) to buy more ICN tokens (currently undervalued)?
- Wait to see how this all plays out?

Imo they should be buying stuff with their cash. Current market is a buy opportunity.

The same holds true for DAAs:  Most of the them are actively managed. I wonder why so many are tanking roughly in line with the overall market. An active fund could simply exit the market and hold the AUM in fiat, to then re-enter once the correction is over.

Conversely, if the do NOT do that, whats the point in having an actively managed DAA in case of a crash? Then I could invest in a passive DAA or even hold the tokens myself (rebalancing etc not considered).

Your P/B is incorrect. Their Book Value would have fallen with the bear market. You're using the last reported book value, which isn't current. Remember, markets are forward looking, not backward looking.

The ICN volatility isn't something new. We've generally seen that ICN falls much more than both BTC and ETH during bear markets.

If the team has cash, in general, they should be using it to buy back and burn more ICN. However, perhaps they need that money to pay salaries. This can be the biggest expense and what drastically reduces value to ICN holders.

Yes, they keep enough cash to pay for 2 years of salaries. Still a lot of money left after that.

Unlikely they'll burn the ICN tokens if they buy them back currently. In Q4, CCP bought a bunch but they said they would sell them later on if ICN prices got too high.

I think the movement is now progressing because yesterday looks down, and now ICN already show the green light if later on many updates that occur price will rise again.
