Drinking alcohol is not good for your health. The desastrous effect of drinking alcohol takes place slowly. You may not be seeing the effect now. It takes time for the effect on you liver and kidneys to show. Alcohol destroys the liver and kidneys. The effect is usually shown when you grow old. People are now dying of liver issues and kidney failures. Kidney transplant is going on every now and then. The major cause is alcohol. I will advice you stop drinking alcohol. After all, there are several minerals or soft drinks with no sugar or less sugar you can buy and drink instead of alcohol.

If its occasionally drinking NOT TOO MUCH of alcohol is ok. But when you do it as if its your hobby then its not goof for you, to your health. If you are a teenager and for your its YOLO, its not bad to drink but know your limit and do not make it a hobby. As you grow older you will see the impact of what you have done during those days. So think first and do it moderately.

I looked into this a while ago. Firstly, there are a number of factors which affect how much alcohol you can drink safely (without an increased chance of death of any kind [all-cause mortality]):
- Amount of food and water in your system before and during drinking
- Weight/body mass
- Gender (gender seems to play a role even beyond the difference in weight, with females generally experiencing worse health consequences than men from the same amount of alcohol per kg of weight)
-Similar to food and water, but specifically intake of electrolytes

For an average male (80kg), half a bottle of wine or two pints of 4% beer per day is the limit. For an average woman (60-70kg), the limit is just over half that of a man. Over this level of consumption, all-cause mortality starts to rise. But this is on average; you could drink more if you also drink a lot of water and make sure to have a full stomach and plenty of electrolytes, and got to bed on time (some of the deleterious effects of alcohol are because of altered sleep patterns), or if you have more mass than average.

Here’s how alcohol can affect your body:

Cardiomyopathy – Stretching and drooping of heart muscle
Arrhythmias – Irregular heart beat
Stroke
High blood pressure
Research also shows that drinking moderate amounts of alcohol may protect healthy adults from developing coronary heart disease.
Liver:
Heavy drinking takes a toll on the liver, and can lead to a variety of problems and liver inflammations including:
Cancer:
Drinking too much alcohol can increase your risk of developing certain cancers, including cancers of the:
Immune System:
Drinking too much can weaken your immune system, making your body a much easier target for disease

Drinking alcohol is not that much effected if the person knows his limits. But in personal point of view it is not good for the health of the person. It harm for the internal organs of human. And if some one exceeded his limit it may cause to so many problems like arguments. those arguments can even be increased up to criminal cases.

every thing in limit is good for health.

Drinking alcohol to much is bad in health. Everything we take we need moderation. If illness will target our self it became hard.

It is fine to drink alcohol, just don't consume it in heavy amount, it could have serious impact on your liver in the long run.

If you're not overdoing it, it's okay.
There are some studies that alcohol helps our metabolism and has some advantages on our health.

But, make sure that you have limitations because when you are in the influence of alcohol, it's true that you can't control what you're doing or saying.

Alcohol is identified by the World Health Organizaiton as one of the most toxic substances. With an annual deathtoll of around 3.3 million people (source is the WHO in 2015 though) that seems quiet a legit identification imho.
