When you are drinking alcohol you should be aware that it is not about being drunk after the session, it should only be for socialization. There are people who don't want it that way, they are always after the feeling/sensation.

I my self is drinking red wine at night, while watching a movie and to unwind.

Hi guys. Just wanted to know whether drinking is good or bad for our health...first of all i drink every weekend because i feel refreshed after a heavy week of work..  After i drink i take a lot of food and have a nice sleep....I do not have any kind of headache or anything after drinking but will it affect me in the future.... My dad almost drinks everyday right from his childhood may b at the age of 18 but my dad is healthy and strong even after drinking so many years... Thanks to god for that....... Any way,  When it comes to your health, is it better to drink or not to drink?

drink for health is bad, just need to know if you want to drink then drink, if you drink it every day, of course it's bad))((

Brain damage. Binge drinking can cause blackouts, memory loss and anxiety. Long-term drinking can result in permanent brain damage, serious mental health problems and alcohol dependence or alcoholism.

I personally don't drink alcoholic drinks but I believe that there might be some nutritional and health benefits that you can get from it if consumed in right amounts. However, anything not taken in moderation could harm us.

Red wine, in my opinion is the only healthy beverage which contains ethyl alcohol. According to researchers, it is having a lot of health benefits. It contains a lot of resveratrol and proanthocyanidins, which reduces the risk of heart disease and some type of cancer. It is also said to prevent certain types of vision loss (at advanced age).

Well, as what we say, "Too much will kill you." It is applicable also with drinking alcoholic beverage. I've read something that drinking beer is good for our kidney. But too much drinking beer will also lead to destruction of our liver. So I think, it is all about drinking in moderation.

Alco is your choice when you want to chill a bit. Although I really hate guys and chiks which make an idol from alc - you should never forget it's a narcotic, and not the helthiest one for sure

As with everything else in life, all is OK in moderation
It ruins your physical body and your inner parts.  It may have made you somewhat forget some of your problems or celebrated with you but at the end of the day it still destroys your intestine and minimizes your life.

Everything that is not taken in moderation is not good for us. It is also true for alcohol. While there might be some benefits when you only take it occassionally, it might cause harm to our bodies if taken on large doses.

the impact of drinking alcohol is bad for our health, it can affect our organs and brain and can shorten the lifespan of humans. Drinking dependence also endangers families both financially and mentally

For me , whether drinking alcohol is good or bad we still need to give a limitation to it . Because we dont know if what will happen if we drink a lot . We dont know what will happen if we abuse our body because of that .

The link between cancer and alcoholism hasn't been established without doubt yet. Some of the research findings support such a claim, while some others reject any such link. But the two major causes remain liver cirrhosis (wrongly given as heart cirrhosis in your post) and cardiac arrest. Nerve damage is also another serious condition, but it is rare.

For me There are many good points on either side regarding what the drinking age should be. I've flipped flopped over this before, but I think where I stand now I believe that it should be lowered. The fact that you can die for your country at 18, buy cigarettes and are considered a legal adult at that age are all sound reasons to lower the drinking age. I think the biggest thing to look at though is how other countries with lower drinking ages don't have such a stigma and are not nearly as bad about binge drinking as the ph is. Something we are doing here isn't working. I really like how others stated above about trying to instil responsible drinking in our youth and getting away from the binge drinking culture. It's definitely a problem, but I don't think just lowering the drinking age will fix it.
