in ancient Sparta there was a law prohibiting the newlyweds drink wine on the wedding day. In Ancient Rome said: "Drunkards beget drunkards" and is generally forbidden to drink up to 30 years, i.e. until that age, while men do not have families.

Found that only 5% of mentally retarded children enrolled in so-called auxiliary schools, parents suffer from chronic alcoholism, the rest of them are "practically healthy people", but, however, do not shun alcohol

hello,
Alcohol’s impact on your body starts from the moment you take our first sip. While an occasional glass of wine with dinner isn’t a cause for concern, the cumulative effects of drinking wine, beer, or spirits can take its toll.A glass a day may do little damage to your overall health. But if the habit grows or if you find yourself having a hard time stopping after just one glass, the cumulative effects can add up.

I decided to stop drinking. I lay awake most of that night, and by noon the next day every bone in my body ached. In a blind panic, I nervously poured a glass full of gin, my hands shaking so violently that I spilled half the bottle. As I gulped it down, I could feel the agony gradually lessening. Then I finally knew the terrible truth: I was hooked. I couldn’t quit

If it makes you feel refreshed then maybe you're drinking to moderation only. Which is good everything in control is good for the body. I myself feel relaxed after a day's work, so I drink a bottle of beer at night sometimes.

There are a lot of health claims that beer has but no scientific research to back up that yet.

Alcohol in moderation can be useful for the body. The problem with many people is that they can not control themselves as soon as they start drinking

Drinking is quite good. But drinking too much is bad for our community, health, etc. It is slowly killing our body.

There are published health studies that elucidate the beneficial and harmful
effects of alcohol consumption on the human body. Drinking alcohol isn't
necessarily all that bad, studies show that it's actually good for your heart.
Although doctors suggest to consume alcohol in moderation, since alcohol
can burn fats it reduces the risks of developing heart diseases, ischemic
stroke and diabetes. Red wine is widely praised for it's numerous health
benefits and is rich with antioxidants. The harmful side of alcohol consumption
is entirely caused by the prolong and excessive intake of alcohol itself, amounts
that are considered too much of what our body can take and uniquely requires.
It can lead to the development of chronic diseases, high blood pressure,
digestive problems, stroke and liver cirrhosis. Most of the crimes and vehicular
accidents are also associated with the over consumption of alcohol. As it
has clearly been proven to have impede and cloud human cognitive judgment,
reasoning and perception. So drink moderately and wisely.

Drinking alcohol in moderation is okay. But if you abused drinking it, it can cause harmful effects on our body. Not just in our body but also in our relationship with the people around us.

Enjoying alcohol in moderation is not just "not bad" for you, but it may have health benefits that could prolong your life. It is when people use alcohol as an escape route for social, personal or career pressures that abuse or alcoholism can result. Abuse of alcohol, or consumption of more alcohol than the body can handle, can lead to liver damage and other debilitating conditions.

Although for most people moderate drinking had a small protective effect on the heart, this can be outweighed for some people by increased risks of other harmful health effects.

Research also shows that drinking moderate amounts of alcohol may protect healthy adults from developing coronary heart disease. Liver: Heavy drinking takes a toll on the liver, and can lead to a variety of problems and liver inflammations including: Steatosis, or fatty liver.

For me drinking alcohol can affect health but it depends on how you manage not to drink too much. Thinking it will refreshed you after a tiring day.

There are many impacts in drinking alcohol , and most of it are bad. Just when a person drink too much alcohol and drives his or her vehicle will cause in accidents or even death. And there is also good impact when drinking alcohol , it makes a person fall to sleep faster than expected. And there is also a scientific research that drinking alcohol is good to the body. I drink alcohol but when there is an occasion only , and i drink not that much. Just moderately , and when i feel dizzy i stop.
