There seems to be good news everywhere that Gox will resume BTC TX soonish. Any scenario where this could not happen? Unless Gox is developing a huge scam, TX should resume soon, right?
All winds blow to they will be back on track very soon Source for the good news? They changed my 7 jan SEPA withdraw status to pending , i see this as a sign like: let us clean the house before opening the btc gates, and whoever ask for fiat should now deposit new fresh money if wants to buy our cheap btc ! I think you talk BS... my SEPA from 3 Jan. is still on 'confirmed'. I also requested a small withdraw (160+€) on 27th Jan. and its status changed from 'confirmed' to 'pending', it's not bullshit. Still it's small amounts and only information, I guess queue is processing but it's definitly only some information, not a "MtGox is solvent and cool" statement. Plus this thread name is "MtGox withdrawal delays [Gathering]" so don't be mad if people are posting their story about their withdrawals... Edit : btw, remember BTC withdrawals and Fiat ones are not related wow! finally some improvements! i got one SEPA withdrawal since 29th, still confirmed, but the amount is larger. i'll keep you posted Yeah I got 1K EUR confirmed since the 29th as well. Who will get it first?

rpietila, you should kiss sturle's feet for having pending USD withdrawals on Mt.Gox now which you can cancel and buy the absolute cheapest Bitcoin on the market with. (And hopefully withdraw them soon, but risk is your middle name anyways...)

he payed a premium, to get his BTCs out of gox. thats why he is pissed and calling everyone a criminal who refuses to spread FUD about gox being insolvent. he could have trippled his money, if he just believed the facts instead of the FUD. poor guy! when you read his last post, you can see that he has one last hope: gox is indeed insolvent and nobody will get out his BTCs which would justify his actions. he will have a big disapointment soon...

Video on Mt.Gox Protest: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ob9Ak1t09Ao#t=198The CEO was asked point blank if he could get his money back or if there are any Bitcoins left. The CEO could not answer. The latest Mt.Gox press release says that you can now deposit Bitcoin, but not withdraw.

It looks like the withdrawal of BTCs will be resolved soon (still speculative though).
For me personally, the second issue is pretty much irrelevant, bc I will get my BTCs out of there as soon as I can and never work with Gox again. And I will never be able to take Gox to court for the loss I incurred with this (my time and paying lawyers will be more expensive than the money I could get ever back). As I can't fix that problem, it stops being a problem for me. Even if personally I am very pissed with them and I am sure many people are incredibly angry with them due to the large amount of financial losses.
I can sleep better tonight.
we need a website, all of us get together and send MT to the court!!!!

I made a withdrawal of 100 € on 11.02 to test current SEPA transfers from Mtgox and as I just noticed, the money was transfered to my bank yesterday. So no problem at least with smaller amounts of €.

Smaller amounts usually go faster, while larger amounts usually takes longer from what I've learned.

There's never a real reason but i guess fear of Gox not fixing their issues and a lot of btc stolen from the new silk road has something to do with it. Maybe also some people trying to arbitrage selling BTC on exchanges that work and buying them on Gox, though that sounds risky and i'm not sure how well fiat deposits to Gox work atm.

I wouldn't be surprised if whoever got their hands on the new silk road's bitcoins are trying to offload at least some of them. Their haul has lost about 50% of its value in the last few days.

I have two withdrawals for 1,000 Eur each and the last one for 10,000: how long am I supposed to wait if they use such bs system?? And it's been more than 6 weeks since the very first one (Jan 2nd), it's a shame it's still "confirmed" while they process requests submitted one month later!

The BTC withdrawal on MTGox has switched to this message:
Identification required to access private API
Does this mean that the withdrawals work, but only for internal testing by developers?

It was ok to charge people a 25 percent markup from all the other exchanges rates? not against the law to lock up withdrawls and hold peoples money ransom ? I wouldn't believe anything that came out of that liars fat mouth
