Anyone work out what manner of thing the script does yet?
From superficial analysis I would say it injects stuff from Akamai into the page. What it ultimately does, we cannot find out, because what Akamai injects depends on Akamai, and it can change however they want. If I remember correctly, Mt. Gox has used Akamai for high-performance server farm hosting. |

Going to assume this email is BS until I get one from a known Gox email and then will assume its complete BS having come from Gox. Edit: For newbies don't go entering you Gox details into anything you never know Gox might come back one day.  |

Site was using Mt.Gox trading API it seems. As this is down their trading system won't work. |

Weird situation, but the truth is if you don't have the private key to your bitcoins, you don't have bitcoins. Oddly enough this statement holds for gold (GLDX is not Gold, it's paper) and money (bank balances are not money). Fascinating to watch.
