Right now, I have placed a few bitcoins in some pretty good coins that I see. ETH is one of them and I plan to do this up until a hard fork occurs, just to maintain some value and appreciate/get profits in the next coming months. I still remain long for bitcoin though.

ETH is a good coin to invest in for getting the profit but it is risky to put our all money in that coin just like we do in bitcoin because ETH is not a strong based currency like bitcoin. Bitcoin have many services and many people have adopted it which is the support for it and ETH is with lesser services.

Yes, it's good to put only a little percentage of your money in alt coins. The most profitable currency is Bitcoin, if you invest too much in alt coins you will probably lose profit opportunities with Bitcoins, unless you are an active trader and are on the internet all day long following the market steps.

I did place some of my money into bitcoin, in other words, I invested on bitcoin, it is a really good asset though, it's price are really unstable making it a bad and really wrong choice of investment when we are talking about profit. Making an investment to an asset means that you will be having a sure profit from it, without any complaints about it.

All you need to do is to sit and wait while your investment is in their hands making all the work, while you sit patiently waiting for your profit to come.

You don't have to focus on just Bitcoin or altcoins when you can trade both at the same time. It will allow you to benefit from the high level of fluctuations that altcoins experience, and you can benefit from Bitcoin's ups and downs. You don't have to be a very active trader for this. Trading both altcoin and bitcoin as the same time is the best thing to do because it gives you two possible source of income and even though there is one of them that is not active then you can still earn profit i.e if bitcoin price was too high then the altcoin market will be inactive but you can still use your bitcoins to buy altcoins as much as you can because there is a high possibility that altcoins are too cheap.

I knew it from the start that bitcoin is going to be one of the best investments  that I knew with my entire life. Too bad that when I started to had enough knowledge on this crypto, that was the time that I don't have enough for buying. I regret that I haven't bought bitcoins with my funds at lower price as we can see the price of it now.

for anyone that has gone all in on a cryptocurrency like bitcoin would and should be considered a bad idea to some extent
because bitcoin carries its own risks, the most coming from traders who can easily manipulate prices to drop drastically and losing on our btc investments.
Maybe diversifying into different altcoins as a precaution to give you leverage on your investment should be the way to go.

No, we shouldn't do that. Although bitcoin have a lot of potential, but the short term fluctuation risk shouldn't be ignored. Especially for the new comers, they cannot stand this kind of loss in their accounts. If you are not comfortable with this kind of loss, I suggest you to buy small amount. Current its hottest debate is around the BU and Core. Bitcoin may fork in the near future.  Bitcoin is dumped in recent days.

I don't think so mate, the community won't allow it to be happen together with the whales investors in bitcoin world. As you can see the price value of bitcoin so far was 1084$ its a bit recovering it now, perhaps maybe a couple of days it will get more higher.

For me bitcoin is a good way to invest money to grow up and make more profit. But sometimes I convert my btc when the time or right place that dollar will increase so that there are no chances to grow up. But sometimes half of my btc I convert in time of emergency and then to think that my half earnings of will make a profit. Since btc are not stable I save my btc until that btc will increase or enough to have profit.

For me bitcoin is a good way to invest money to grow up and make more profit. But sometimes I convert my btc when the time or right place that dollar will increase so that there are no chances to grow up. There is no doubt that bitcoin is a good investment for now but we are not sure what picture we will see in future so putting all money at single place is not a wise decision to make as if bitcoin fails in future then you loose all your money in a single shot which is an costly affair.

We should not be worried with the downfall in the price as its a common practice in bitcoins but its never a good idea to invest all money at a single place so to reduce the level of risk we should try to diversify our investments at multiple places.

Yes of course, Investing all your money in one basket is like going to the war with one weapon and there will be a high chance of getting killed by the enemies which represent by the market and other co traders. Diversifying or dividing your capital in doing investment is a safer and lesser risk rather than putting all in just one, So it is best to invest both in investment sites,bitcoin and altcoins so you can have a lower chance of getting loss of your money.

Honestly, NO, why would I put all my funds to bitcoin, I can't survive the world with just bitcoin in my wallet. Though I believe in bitcoin, I still doubt if I can survive just by carrying only bitcoin. We need foods and have to pay our bills and those that I've mention is not possible using bitcoin. It doesn't have stable price and no one knows what can happen on it, but when I certainly knew bitcoin at it's early days I will probably invest some of my funds but I won't invest all of them but once I saw that the progress of it's increase is incredibly fast, maybe I'll change my mind.

A bigger risk. I envy them for their courage though I totally don't agree with it also. Kind of making your life in the brink of being broke if something bad happen.
I would rather put just a part of it rather than giving my all. It is an investment not a savings account. There are ups and downs and you don't want to regret it afterwards. If he is too rich to invest 50k then it is okay though.

This is what most of us are doing, we just invest our spare money with bitcoin at the very beginning. And seeing the price now, there is a time that I regret that I haven't invested all that I've got. But that's a normal thing because I might regret it forever if I fall into misconception and failure upon investing without proper knowledge.

Investing with just your spare money is good while investing all your money is being greedy. It is better to play safe than to play risky because bitcoin is very volatile and anytime the price can drop to its maximum cheap price. So we don't need to regret for not investing all our money because it is a lesson that next time we shall invest at least maximum 50% of our money in bitcoin.

Nope. No way. Absolutely not.  I may put about 1/3 of my free money, that's my limit and even with just that, there's no way I could be calm about it.
I do wish I'd  put it all in Bitcoin back in 2010 but, nah there's just no way I'd ever do that. Not a chance.

Why? I put all my money in it and somehow it crashes, I'd lose it all. I put half of my money in it, and it doubles/triples/whatever, then I'd still have earnings. I'm fine with nice, steady, extra income. ^^
