@Islapdonkey you need to create solariscoin.conf yourself ( notepad) . Make sure you show known file extensions so you don't accidently name it solariscoin.conf.txt Close wallet first , then edit your solariscoin.conf ( the config file for the Solariscoin wallet is located at C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\solariscoin ) rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rpcport=18921 rpcuser=USER rpcpassword=PASSWD daemon=1 server=1 listen=1 mining=1 addnode=185.183.99.171 addnode=185.183.99.19 http://screenshot.sh/mGY6Q8GQmiVReCan't find this file ;/ Should i download Wallet again? Or what? I send some coins to mine (which is not synchronized) http://screenshot.sh/oBYFTVk6C7gN4http://screenshot.sh/mKMXaVqxlgw9SWatch the screenshot, now i see that may i have connection but: connection is established but this process has not finished yet... so i only have to wait? The wallet provides the instantaneous POW difficulty. WhatToMine shows the average POW difficulty (24-hr, 3-day, 7-day) but it has been broken and hasn't updated for a couple of days. Is there another site or some other way to see the average POW difficulty?
my pool https://cryptohub.online/pools/ has a log of difficulity, checking it once per hour. If you use its calculator it will show you possible profit based on average difficulity for last 24 hours. I will think to add special page to show average difficulities Thanks for the info. I also just checked WhatToMine and they've got it fixed now.

Any pool working?
I like https://cryptohub.online- no pool fee on XLR - in case of orphaned block all shares of that round will be counted in new round - continuous improvements - any questions/problems I had, startsts was very helpful

I know it's a long shot, but is there any way to recover a lost wallet? I have the address, but that's it at this point. I didn't make any backups (planned to just hadn't yet) for a wallet I was mining to for the past few days when I did a fresh windows installation (unrelated issue).

How I know it's impossible. The same problem recently passed with OLIT coin developer and he stopped support the coin since he has lost all premine coins. In your case I think mining for few days it should be a few amount of coin

I really wish the default wallet.dat location wasn't in appdata, but that it prompted you for where you wanted to store it when making the wallet installation as some other qt wallets do for different coins. Installing everything to a different partition would eradicate this potential problem almost completely.

How to synchronize wallet?
Hi, Here is what you need to do to get your wallet to sync with the network. You will need to create solariscoin.conf yourself using notepad and make sure you show known file extensions so you don't accidentally name it solariscoin.conf.txt Close wallet first, then edit your solariscoin.conf ( the config file for the Solariscoin wallet is located at C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\solariscoin )

Many a time the instructions given are as if they are for developers. some of us are lay when it comes to these stuff. such simple easy to do answers help us. i also remember learning all these the hard way.

Yes we must all help each other as I always try my best to do on all the coins I own. Most of my posts on this forum are to help people with their issues with wallets or what ever they need help with. This is what make a community a strong community and that is what is taking shape with Solaris, great dev and great community and I'm glad to be apart of this great community we have here at Solaris.

Looks like Solaris is now starting to get up to a price where I believe it should be. It still needs some more volume daily but the price has been rising steady now and I hope we can break the $0.50 and stay there as that's where I believe this coin should be. Low supply and low marketcap which gives Solaris a lot of room to move.

PoW coins need more time to reach higher prices as initially the inflation from miners is quite big compared to the total coins in existence. Patience is the name of the game if you want to win big on PoW coins. If patience is not for you, then it's best to focus on some older coins or coins where there is no inflation from mining.
