whats up with old cards ingame when the player retires ?
do they become worthless or what ?
i think that i still sit on a few ADÚRIZ and some other older player cards.

The total number of points serves in the leaderboard position. A lot of our users are into the competitive aspects of the game and in displaying their achievements.
Starting with the new season, we are considering different incentives and rewards. At the end of the day, this is a game.

You get the points assigned for the position you draft the player in.
If you use the player as assistant manager, you get points for assistant manager.
If you use the player in the field or as reserve player you get the points for the player based on what he has done during the game.

After the players retired though, the interest to buy their cards isn't quite big and a lot of users have cards with those retired players but their points will be flat.
Do you plan to do something about those cards? Maybe some trade with the new upcoming card players or a swap?

As I said we are looking into it and we may put in place a random exchange for existing cards against a fee.
