I am not a very good trader but an average investor and I trust the process for the long term and thus I usually prefer to hold the investments as there is some research behind choosing it. I take the moderate risk and I diversify my investment quantity not only while buying but also while selling so if I am buying 10 units then buying is 2 - 4 - 6 and while selling, it would be vice versa 6 - 4 - 2.

there are so many benefits of long term investment, in long term investment, there are very little chances to lose money, in fact in long term investment if the price of bitcoin is even decreasing so we do not selling we remain as more confident and hopeful to get a good profit in previous time.

Any investment is usually for the long term and it really doesn't matter what's happening in short period of time when it comes to the evaluation of overall performance of the investment. I consider myself more investor rather than a trader as I think it's the safest form of acquiring financial gains. However, I must admit that having money in volatile options like cryptocurrencies is a risky move.

good question and it will be depend on how you will support the coins eth and ltc shows some potential together with xrp and nem
but its not the value its the uses will determine who's going to be next and will survive alongside of btc.

Based on the usage and the market capital it's ethereum. Recently it got acceptance into some shopping need same as bitcoin, also several ethereum project has been found successful adding value to its platform. So I believe it would be good to profit though it's highly volatile.

More project based on the ethereum platform will try to implement the useful of ethereum in the real usage. Ethereum will be one of the serious competitors for bitcoin itself. I mean the technical condition of bitcoin has supported the ethereum to growth more and more.

Bitcoin gets an accident due to the limit of the block size. More people gets disturbed caused by that problem.

This gives more attention for ethereum to be an alternative besides of the brother of bitcoin (LTC)

Because I'm sure that it will reach no matter what happened. So at the meant time just focus on investment or other things that will give you additional BTC.

You aren't interested in spending your coins at the time local merchants will start accepting Bitcoin as payment solution. You just want them to accept Bitcoin so that the price goes up. Even more precise -- you're more a person that converts every satoshi that you have to fiat as that is your only point of importance. From there, I don't believe you'll ever hold much of your coins (if any at all).

If you ask me, it is best to sell some of our bitcoins and continue to hold the rest because the price now is moving fast and in the price chart there is indication that the price might go down so it is best to play safe and do not be greedy and holding our bitcoins. Sell at least a few of your bitcoins and use the profits to buy back when the price is low.

When looking at the bitcoin price movement then this is the right time to do the holding. Just look at it now every day there's always a significant increase. The price has reached 1750USD and it is not impossible that this month could reach 1900USD.

We don't need to monitor the price 24/7 if we are going long term because the price as of now is not that high compare to the possible price of bitcoin after at least 4 years because i think after 4 years the bitcoin already reached at least $3,000 price and that is not bad for people who just invested and do nothing but to wait and earn money.

For me its better to hold first because if we need in times of crisis then we have to sold. And there are many reason to hold and the purpose is to wait the right time to sell when the price is good and high. This is also a good investment when the price is good and hold it again until it will grow or many. So i will continue to hold because it is safe..

It depends on your strategy when time comes take your choice and enjoy the risk. I believe you are confused with yourself, usually, after read some news or share with somebody call " master ". There is " take profit " you must reach, never hold it. The simple meaning is discipline. Good luck

Price growth is happening at certain time interval, so possibly it will be increase further as once again the pumping has begun moving towards $1700. We might cross the barrier in a short making way to reach a better price than the present. So people who doesn't have anything emergency it's good to hold.

that is very close to 1700 now and i am hopeful that very soon the price of bitcoin will cross the barier and hope that it will then reach to 2000 USD so we can expect that at the end of 2017 the price of bitcoin will be trading above 3000 USD level. therefore i think it will be a good decision to wait and not to sell bitcoin right now.

Luckily it has crossed the $1800 and I am pretty ambitious seeing it. Currently I see no hindrances for the price to touch the $2000 by the end of this month.

So, I am holding it personally and will not advise to anyone to sell it right now. Wait for the moment it cross $2000 and then sell a little of your stock because I am hopeful that it is going to raise high up to $3000 without any major drop in the price till the end of this year or maybe in the first two months of the next year.

yes bitcoin is always fluctuating, currently bitcoin is following the increasing trend and hope that this trend will continue for a long time. people are expecting that the price of bitcoin is going to cross 2500 USD level very soon. but  i think before that the price of bitcoin can also take some correction therefore bitcoin is again providing you opportunity to buy bitcoin.

I couldn't agree with you more, yes there is no actual time of when to hold or sell because the prices of the coins are constantly moving. For holding the coin it is actually up to you until when you'd want to hold your coin and for selling, well if you are constantly on the look out on when your coin is pumping then you have to set a target price of when you also want to sell your coins.

I couldn't agree with you more, yes there is no actual time of when to hold or sell because the prices of the coins are constantly moving. For holding the coin it is actually up to you until when you'd want to hold your coin and for selling, well if you are constantly on the look out on when your coin is pumping then you have to set a target price of when you also want to sell your coins.

Yes don't just keep holding and waiting for the price to always go up because it is better if you will set a target price because it will serves as a reminder and guide for you to have a self discipline because you have a target price and you have to follow that or else you will face the consequences like having a small profit or getting a big loss.
