That is correct.  Carsen Klock is a freaken scammer.  Everyone should check out the richlist:  https://chainz.cryptoid.info/tor/#!rich  There was 1.2 million premined coins and now there's only a total of 1.213 million.  So Carsen is holding all of the coins.  Look how wallet number 6 only has 100k, instead of the 200k it originally had.  That only means he's been dumping the other 100k on your asses.  Once a scammer, always a scammer.

I personally did not sell a single coin at $10.  You can check my wallets in the blockchain.  I can't speak for anyone else.

But I can say that if the price spikes from $1 to $10 in 24hours you can bet that the price will probably crash back down from people taking profits.  That's understandable.  I'm just not going to be the one taking profits.

I really want to believe you and I want this to be a good project but how do you explain there being more for sale than has been mined?

Currently there are 16,523 Tor for sale but there has only been 14,576 blocks mined.....Earlier today there were 25,000 Tor for sale. Where did all these extra Tor come from if not from you?

Yes I have sold off some of my TOR holdings out of my original 200k, it was posted on our reddit, the coinmarketcap circulating supply will be updated soon.

To be transparent, I sold off some to help out with distribution of TOR, otherwise the price would be much much much higher than it is, I am still currently holding 142k. Here is a picture.

The price will only continue to rise now, the 1m TOR is in cold storage by my partner and I am still holding my portion a 142k, I am not dropping anymore into distribution at this time. I will be holding. I guess all you really have is my word that I wont be distributing anymore into the market.



One thing is for certain, there still really isn't much TOR available. I believe in TOR and so do others, I will be holding the rest of mine, because I think the market will grow far beyond what it has. Just like what my partner is saying.

Some may take this negatively, but those that are smart won't. I think most will be laughing at this post in a year when its well over $20.

So there you go - Carsen sold some of his Tor and the price dipped. Big deal.  The coin is less than one month old, and price swings are definitely to be expected.  At $10, I can't blame anyone for taking some profits.  I personally didn't need to, but I have a lot more money than Carsen ..

Realistically, I don't think TorCoin is worth more than $10 at this present moment anyway .. I think a realistic price point for the coin is between $5 and $10 over the next couple months.  As we get listed on more exchanges and TorCoin is more widely accepted and traded then I would expect a potential price point of $20 by the end of the summer.  This coin is better than Monero and right up there with Dash.

The supply is low, so the price ultimately has nowhere to go but up.

But I am personally not particularly interested in the day-by-day price.  If you want to speculate, go for it. But I would recommend you buy some and hold onto it for the long haul.   Because I am 100% focused on longterm viability for this coin.

If you are serious about this, why not move most of the developer funds into the hands of a trusted bitcointalk escrow such as SebastianJU. Then release only in small quantities in distant future. That would stop all FUD since it would show your seniority about long term development and give a stable sustainable pump.

No way I would trust an escrow on here with 1 million TOR - the coin is headed to $100 by next year.  $100 million is a lot of motivation for theft, trusted escrow or not.

What I *MIGHT* trust is a smart contract based escrow. Some enterprising developer should create a smart contract escrow for coin developers, so that the creator of the coin can lock up some or all of his premine in a smart contract which automatically releases after X amount of time, or releases small amounts every X months or years.

I think this would solve a lot of the problems surrounding new coins.  I would certainly commit some coins to such an escrow, assuming the smart contract could be proven 100% secure ...
