The iamstevenico twitter said that you need to have populous tokens to be a lender on the platform. That makes them a utility token and not a security. Same is true for veritaseum you need at least 1 token.  Smiley

I hope this is incorrect I wouldn't want anyone to miss out.

HAHA, you don't need PPT tokens to do anything on the platform. The entire hype with the PPT token was it was supposed to offer holders a small advantage by giving preference to bidding. But seeing how all this time there are still no invoices to bid, the PPT token is worthless.

A smart person that wants to buy invoices and get passive income would just deposit Fiat and bid on some invoices. FIAT does not drop 80% in a month.....

I really hope you're right because the iamstevenico twitter feed said 4 times that you need them. Even if I'm wrong which I hope I am because it's punishment enough for you to hold a currency quantitatively eased by $20 billion a month. And then you miss 6 months of purchasing invoices.

I bought at $2 along with about 10 other coins on the cheap. I just think this will do the best because they're already a working product and not just a promise
You very aptly and on time invested money in this at face value. Even now, at this price, you seem to have a good profit. I think the price will go even higher and will be even more profit in the future. We must continue to hold. Smiley

You are absolutely correct. You can buy an invoice with any currency. That's why the PPT token is complete bullshit. Fanboys think the PPT token is some type of equity sharing in profits. LOL

The only reason why the PPT token was issued and handed out to investors is because Steve had to give investors something...anything...so people would willingly part with their money. If people really took the time to understand what the PPT token is and what it actually brings, they would realize its worthless. Populous could be successful and the PPT token would still be worthless.
That's not true at all. It was at one time, but Nico changed it so all invoices have to be bought with PPT.

Thats total BullShit, PPT is the ONLY functional Token that is allowed on Populous to buy invoices, and this will never change.
FIAT makes also no sense as it loose its a value over time while PPT is rising (paying 15%-40% profit per year)

Smart persons ignore "SemiFUDDYInvestor" he knows not from what he is speaking ;-) Trying to spread only uneducated FUD and giving bad advice.

Here a picture how to invest PPT to buy Invoices - nothing else is allowed:

This is the first real invoice traded, for 200.000 USD this month! , paying 4.8% interest per 30day, good ?! YES (but not for you)

This are the hard facts and you are a shame and lost all credibility its time for you to look for a new nick-name nobody here believes in you anymore "SemiSeriousInvestor"

LMAO. Look at the pics you posted. How exactly does a person obtain PPT tokens on the platform? .... by depositing GBP !!! You guys don't know when u getting hustled  even if it hit u in the face. SO Basically that means you can deposit any currency to bid on invoices.  But the kicker is u have to buy some PPT from Steve first. LMAO. The only reason why this is the case is so Steve don't go to jail again for money transmitter.

I guess it's too late for us now. We have been hooked into a yield based investment opportunity that could go global while some hodl fiat currencies that have always gone to zero.

When Venezuela went under cryptos mooned. Now the yield curve in Britain is inverted and some still talk about the virtues of fiat and no yield investment. Fiatards will in time collapse now how do people fund a business. Bitpopulous has the answer.

This man above me has 0 merit for a reason.

So Steve went and changed up the rules to create more demand for PPT.....and yet the price still tanks...thats all you need to know

The bitcoin price could reach $64,000 by the end of 2019, according to a new analysis of cryptocurrency mining economics.

The study, conducted by Wall Street strategy firm fundstrat global advisors argues that that the ratio between the bitcoin price and miners’ breakeven cost (P/BE) has proven to be a “reliable long-term support level” for the flagship cryptocurrency and that current and future mining infrastructure development will “underpin bitcoin price appreciation into year-end 2019.”

“We expect the mining economy to grow over the next several years, and project a BTC price of ~$36,000 by year end 2019 based on the historical average 1.8x P/BE multiple,” Fundstrat quantamental strategist Sam Doctor wrote in the report.
Doctor added that although $36,000 is the most likely target for the bitcoin price according to this analysis, it could end up anywhere in the $20,000 to $64,000 range depending how the landscape develops over the next 18 months.

Even the lower end of that range represents a 113 percent increase from the current bitcoin price, while the more optimistic target represents a 583 percent surge. At the time of writing, bitcoin was trading at $9,375 on Bitfinex.
As CCN reported mining firms have been rapidly scaling up their operations following last year’s prolonged bull market. Bitmain, the world’s dominant mining hardware manufacturer, is said to have made as much as $4 billion in operating profit in 2017, and Canaan — its largest competitor — is preparing to hold an initial public offering (IPO) that it believes will provide it with a $1 billion valuation.

Fundstrat has long been bullish on bitcoin. Founder Tom Lee has argued that, among younger investors, cryptocurrencies are rapidly replacing gold as the most popular “store of value,” and the firm has published a number of analyses that suggest the ecosystem will experience sustained long-term growth.
at $25,000 for 2018 and has previously said that bitcoin could rise as high as $91,000 by early 2020.
The firm has set its year end target price

Nows the time to buy when everyone freaks out and throws their dirty laundry around in the street. Lord Rothschild always bought when the stock brokers were hanging. Stay thirsty my friends this isn't a massacre it's a feast.
