I vouch for SP...

Their software is CLEAN.....

The first instance of satoshipoker.org in my logs is your spamming the URL on IRC on April 24th apparently prior to the creation of this thread on Bitcointalk.

You also use the same IP...
Even if you use Bitcoin through Tor, the way transactions are handled by the network makes anonymity difficult to achieve. Do not expect your transactions to be anonymous unless you really know what you're doing.

I can vouch for them because I know one of the owners personally.

I am helping satoshipoker.org out with its marketing. That might be why you see me "spamming" when really all I am doing is announcing news to the community.

Sorry if I caused a disturbance.

Before people are jumping the thread about us showing up on bitfunder, we are doing a pre-ipo for private investors and we are considering possibilities of doing an IPO.

How are you IPO'ing when all you've held so far are free rolls?

Seems like it'd be very hard to get any sort of accurate valuation.. Might be interested though Grin

Right now it is just a limited pool of private investors and we are not going public yet.

We cancelled the 1000 Gtd Hourly Freerolls as there were tournaments with only 2 active players and the rest of the players sitting out, hoping to catch some prize money while sleeping  Huh

Well I enjoyed the hourly freerolls as long as it lasted. Hope you can find a solution Smiley

Another nice "promotion tournament" would be an added tournament. So like 0,1 BTC buy-in.. then 0,5 BTC added or something like that. Ofc only one tournament like that in beginning. IMO that could trigger people to put some money on there.. at least I would Smiley (maybe this is for a later stage as you guys are still testing too.)

Good luck.

We will have the tournaments back up soon. Just have to build something against these sitouts Wink

Hi people,

we found a solution for the people who sitout. The hourly freerolls will resume at 2PM EST. Registration will start 30 minutes before start of the tournament to prevent the abuse we have seen before.

Thanks for freerolls !

I would ask Hand History in TxT format ?
And maybe a button for reload chips at table ?

Thanks

Lost coins only make everyone else's coins worth slightly more. Think of it as a donation to everyone.
it has lots of buttery taste..

Hand history in txt format is already designed but still needs to be built. We decided to give a non-download client in the website priority.
At this moment the chips can be reloaded by right clicking on the table and choosing add funds to table.

For the people who didnt know yet:

We changed the structure to make the games more exciting. Tables are now 6 max, starting stack is 1500 chips and blindslevels are 8 minutes. The old structure was too boring, and nobody wants to play 2 hours for a $13 prize pool...

Please players, don't abuse our tournaments by signing up and sitting out trying to get some money that way.
Keep it fair.

Maybe they had something to do and forgot to unregister yet ended up getting in the money because it was such a long tournament and no one had patience? I don't think that's abuse, that's just fate. Abuse is collusion, which is very easy over the internet and impossible to prevent.
By the way I think you're wasting Bitcoins on the hourly freeroll. 1 BTC per day at least, and you're getting nothing from it. Anyone who sits at the cash tables is going to get bored because no one will play with them. I had someone hit and run for .01 btc. What a joke. The success of your site has majority to do with your client I think. Go look at successful free poker sites, like geaxgame.com -- notice how their site runs quick. People play poker for fun. That website makes money selling FAKE CHIPS and people buy them just because they're stupid. I know they do because there's no other way they can have as many chips as they have, because if they were actually that good at poker, they would be playing for real money. A properly set up Bitcoin poker site should be able to beat cash sites and lead online poker. Right now is prime time to take advantage because US online poker is illegal. Someone seriously needs to jump and this and do it right. In my opinion, Seals has failed. It's a disgrace. Don't be like them.

I have a bitcoin address that anyone can send BTC too, so I'm going to post it
on my sig because I think someone is going to randomly give me their BTC:
