These are the exchange rates we will use for the ICO:



The ICO will run for 30 days, for each day you can see the price of 1000 ART in ETH and MNE.

As an example, in the first day 1 ETH will buy 1000 ART and 10 MNE will buy 1000 ART.

All purchased ART will then be mined for about 60 years as per the current average block time (100000000 ETH blocks), the actual duration will depend on the ethereum block time over time.

This is dumb ! it is only going to be for a mere 24h before the next rate is  20MNE for 1.5ETH = 1.5x300 / 20  : MNE =  22.5$ for the following 4 weeks

I don't see your point, 22.5$ is still a great exchange rate. I think that everyone is waiting now for the dev to provide more details regarding the ART ICO. My expectation for MNE is to hit somewhere around 15$ which is still a great value for people who want to be in on ART and don't hold MNE yet.

I think some people made a lot of money using this news. So many people bought MNE with the price 150000 and higher, and then price is dumping so fast. The price difference remained in someone's hands.

I can't believe anyone in their right mind would choose an investment that takes 60 years, in a market that's barely 10 years old. if there's no way to buy ART in bulk up front, like any other coin, what's the purpose of investing? Ask yourself, would you rather get 20K ART now, each valued at 1$, or 1ART a day over the next 20.000 days, with no guarantees that ART will even be worth 0.01$ within 1 year?

It's not important 1, 10 or 60 year. All investors are in the same conditions.
For example if we have 1 million tokens, 1 year and price 1$ after 1 month (total tokens 83k, market cap is 83k $),
then for 10 years period after 1 month we will have 10$ price (total tokens 8.3k, but market cap sure will be same 83k $ and price 10$ case in this case it's a rare token and low supply).
Just simple math.

Difference is only speed of price change cause inflation.

You make an interesting point, but don't forget that the Dev is planning to have a market to sell genesis addresses. So in essence, you could cash out any time before those 60 years.
