Barcelona made a very good transfer. Sergio Kun Aguero will strengthen the forward line a lot. However, there is a situation. It was Barcelona that sent Luis Suarez off the team because he was too old. But Sergio Aguero is also 33 years old. If they hadn't sent Luis Suarez, they might have been Champion this year.

I see this move more of linking Messi to his fellow country man Aguero and possibly a way to keep Messi for longer at Barcelona other than him leaving, hope this dual works out.

Btw Does this move confirm another striker is scheduled to move to Manchester city because these guys are in desperate need for one,  maybe halaad is coming.

Yes, it does look that way. Barca improve the team, and bring in a friend... if Messi was unsure whether to stay or not, this surely settles things down.
Personally as I posted earlier, I thought he was likely to stay anyway... but this should make it almost certain.

Selling Suarez was a stupid decision, yes. I'm not sure it was really because he was too old, just that they wanted to have a clear out after the Bayern debacle, and Suarez, although not too old, was probably old enough to get rid of, and save some money from the wage bill. I would think given Atletico's league win this year, that Barca have now learned their lesson... don't sell your best players, and especially not to a rival!

FC Barcelona signs Sergio Aguero a great move. That also confirms Messi will stay. But, is this their tactics to convince Messi to stay in the club? No doubt, the signing is going to worth every penny, now Messi and Aguero can both battle together and could make great impact in Barcelona.

Only by bringing in Sergio Aguera to keep Messi at the club? I don't know why Barcelona signed Sergio Aguero even though he is old after a long period of injury and since then his performance has been a little shy and for me I don't know whether this is a good step or not by signing Sergio Aguera officially.

Coutinho to Liverpool makes no sense at all. Liverpool has grown as a team, attacking players are required to work really hard and Liverpool already has Mane and Jota in the left wing position.

I have mixed feelings about Aguero signing. Yes, he is old, but still can be good and he is one of my favorite players. But when last year Barca Suarez for free to one of main competitors just because he is old and expensive. And next year they sign 32 year old player who missed most part of season because of injuries. I don't know... Offcourse, they can justify because previous decision was made by Bartomeu board and this one by Laporta, but still...

Great news. I reckon Barcelona now has a better replacement since Luiz Suarez departed to Atletico Madrid. Aguero is a top class forward and would help Barcelona in all their targets for 2021/2022 season. I know a lot of people are worried about Aguero's age but he still has a few more years to give to football. If injuries didn't hampered Aguero final season with Man city, I'm sure he would've scored enough goals to get him in the top scorers chart. In my opinion, it's a good deal. Although I'm eager to see how he'd be at Barcelona hopefully not like Greizman or Hazard at Real Madrid.

Honestly Raul doesn't really have that kind of bad tone to it. Zidane was a good player and became a good coach as well and then we have Raul who has been coaching at Real Madrid for a while and that is why I think he would be good because he has been gaining experience all during that period.

Secondly he is real Madrid born and bred so he has been there for a very long time, he played like nearly 20 years or so and then he had like 3 or so seasons of coaching in real Madrid as well so that is why I think he would be a good candidate. At the end of the day we are still looking for much bigger name because that is what real Madrid is used to, they like getting big names but Zidane was big name as a player, he wasn't a big name as coach and look how great he did, which is why I believe they can strike gold again with Raul.

Aguero deal with Barcelona was expected, the Argentinian striker will bring instant impact to the club if he stays fit enough and that's what Barcelona is looking for for the next season they know that they made a big mistake letting Suarez go but bringing on Aguero should fix that and help convince Messi to stay,
I can of say that Barcelona should go back to promoting youngsters from their youth system, buying players turned to be very costly for them and there is still  a matter of succeeding or not, and from what the news reports say that it is expected from Barcelona to make three more signings after Aguero very likely to be Wijnaldum the next.

We cannot say it can fix the problem, it is too early. We even don't see how good Aguero can play in Barcelona. At least, we should wait for the half of next season and evaluate how good the contribution of Aguero. Then, we can claim if it can fix the problem or not. Don't be so easy claiming Barcelona has done a good decision by signing Aguero, he even can't do anything in the final UCL previously. I know he is a big striker but it doesn't guarantee a significant impact for the Barcelona team in the next season. Let's see what he can do in Barcelona first!!

At his presentation, Aguero said he believes Lionel Messi will stay at Barca and the two friends will play together. There is no further information on Messi at the moment.
According to ESPN, Barca president Laporta said that he is working on a two-year deal for Messi with the option for an additional season.

Barcelona will ruin their longterm future by concentrating on staying competitive now. They are doing everything they can to please Messi who will be 34 in the summer.

Aguero is a great player, he's one of my favorite forwards in the last decade. The problem is that Barcelona doesn't have any money, their salaries are already at 110% of their budget and Aguero does not have any resell value.

The deal for Aguero leaves a lot of questions, especially if the deal for Depay is true as well. Does it mean that Griezmann will be allowed to leave? They have Fati and Dembele there as well - with Dembele being offered a new contract too.
