I think soo. Haaland is really too much overrated. I believe he is a talented young player, and he can serve a team well for a long time. But spending 150m for it means a lot more. It is a waste of money. Chelsea may have a lot of money, but Chelsea has never wasted money. They spend less money but create a nice bonding between players.

So at the end of the day, Haaland would have been a lot better but Lewa would probably solve their striker problem for about 2 seasons minimum, but he is a good strategy striker, if he is expected to create his own goals without being part of a system then it is not going to work there.

The whole reason why he was so capable of scoring this many goals was the fact that Bayern played a great tactic that helped him, of course he is a great striker himself as well there is no doubt about that but it was still something that helped him. So long story short 50 mil for the best striker Bundesliga has ever seen is not really a whole lot of money, even for his age, for 2-3 seasons it is still cheap amount.

Alaba arrival to Madrid can certainly entertain fans who continue to hope and worry about who will replace Ramos, but I think Madrid currently need some additional new players to fill several positions, such as defender, midfielder or striker but reportedly the president of Madrid is reluctant to issue more money for some players on the grounds that the financial conditions of world football clubs including Madrid are currently in trouble due to the ongoing pandemic.

There is one last reason he'll prolly leave for, and that's to have a new experience in a different team and league, it happens to many players, especially when they are successful and have won everything in their present club, they thus want to try our something new, a different experiment to see how good they'll fair there.

Having said that, I think Chelsea should not really be going after Lewandowski, he is 33, and in his very last years at the top of his game, if they can get him cheaper, then that's fine and good, but as it stands, it's apparent Bayern wouldn't sell for anything less than 50 million pounds, and that's even if they are willing to sell.

If I understood what you meant correctly.
This is normal since when they are near the expiration of their contract they can leave for free and by doing so they can ask for more money at the new club since they are paying no fees.

Look at Donnarumma, he left Milan for free, and he was a 6m€ yearly salary.
He left for free to PSG while his value is over 50m but doing so his salary is now 12 m€.

To be honest, it wouldn't be a good deal for Barcelona also. Griezmann is a world class player but I can't say it for Dybala surely. Dybala was actually a player who had a really good potential. But he couldn't play very good at Juventus so far. Of course, we can't guarantee that he would be the same at Barcelona too. But I don't think that there will be a really big change for him.

Yes it happens we've seen similar cases in the past, it mostly happens when a player wants to leave and his primary club refuses to sell him in cases like this they purposely stays without extending contract and leave on free transfer, in such situations the primary clubs loses, the contract fees is paid to the player and his agent. Sanchez and his agent  received £20m to their pocket leaving Arsenal on free.

Personal terms and transfer fees is two different thing if you are interested in a player you first negotiate contracts and salary and make sure you guys are on the same page before you start negotiating with the club on transfer fee, the players don't care about the transfer fees, same goes to the club.
