Manchester United will carry out a medical on Ajax forward Antony and that will take place on Monday after the Red Devils completed an Eredivisie record deal after agreeing to pay €100m (£85m) for Antony on Saturday. The specifics were worked on by both parties for the rest of the weekend.

United have made three previous offers for Antony, the last of which was €90m (£76.7m), but Ajax have rejected United's submission as they want to set a club record.

Indeed it is a price that we think is too fantastic to buy Antony. But the fact is that Manchester United dared to spend that much to bring him to Old Trafford. They must have had another view when they agreed on the price that Ajax wanted. I will not regret Manchester United what they have spent, because a lot of players who dropped at Manchester United. Now that Manchester United and ajax have decided to sign Antony, it is no longer news because it has been widely reported on Twitter. He has quality, yes, but they overpaid for him. Someone transitioning from such a league to the Premier league might end up like Ziyech. I believe that United is simply desperate and will spend anything to acquire him.

Go check players like Grealish are they worth the big money move and decision I don't know why when it's not English the media criticize them for such big fee's. Wesley Fofana is another one, Maguire of Manchester United rather they protect this players at all cost because they own the Media. Last game against Southampton, Rashford was more like a ghost no where to be found he is only found against big clubs like Liverpool and Chelsea, since the start of the season how many successfully dribbles and chances created has he had ?
Let the young player be, Antony is not over hyped and priced for me, he just have to come and prove a lotta people in the premier league..

That would better for him to play for MU rather than think about move to the another club. MU is still performing so good. I think that there will be very hard match against some big clubs. The performance of MU is not yet consistent. Sometime it was giving good performance but in another time it was giving bad performance as well. Ronaldo must not always think to move from MU to the new club. So many clubs have been rejecting him as well.

It wasn't a panic buy in my opinion, because Ten Hag knew that Manchester United were in need of more good players like Antony so there was no need to make an offer to an amount lower than the price set by Ajax. So it's more about necessity and not about the panic that Manchester United caused when they accepted the price set by Ajax for Antony.

I think Erik Ten Hag has prioritized Antony too much in his transfer market this season, so the transfer value has become very expensive, this is very confusing for me, is it worth it for Man United to spend that big of a budget.

But the fact is that it happened because this deal has been agreed by Manchester United and this is indeed a very fantastic and profitable price for Ajax who sold Antony.
Maybe it was because of Ten Hag's desire to bring in Antony that whatever his management did but at a price of 100 million euros is a very crazy price and we can only see how Antony can make his Manchester United debut later.

They don't have any choice, all leagues already started and if they're looking to sign an active player, they will need to spend a lot money. So it's make sense why Manchester United want to spend 85+ Million Euros. I'd say even though Antony isn't a top scorers or assists, but if you watch him, you will see his performance is really good since he's performance is stable.

Looking from the strikers position, it's true Manchester United is lack of Right Winger. Rashford will play on Center Forward, Sancho will play on Left Winger, Ronaldo would be a substitute player.
