I guess the deal was a fair one on the side of the player Casemiro and Manchester United, just as you mentioned the club is at a point of making some positive changes that could aide the club into recovering from there present level. I am kinda torn if this transfers is a good one for Manchester United or not and i think we have to look at two different aspects here. First of all i think that Casemiro is a very good player and that he can help every club in the world, so i would say that from a sporting point of view that transfer definitely makes sense for me. From a financial point of view i have to say that this was a pretty expensive deal. Like others here already mentioned here, Casemiro is already 30 years old and he gets a 5 year contract with a high salary at Manchester United. By the end of his contract Casemiro will be 35 and ManU will get nothing or almost nothing for him.

If you take from 2013 to now Real Madrid have spend some money also as players training and salaries he didn't just win those trophy's the team work together to see the success of the club and that will reflect on the life of the players, Manchester United may be thought to have been lucky to sign such big player but than again the age differences Casemiro is at the verge of retirement and his performance may reduce as time goes on he can't have the spotlight forever. But in all player signing is another business for the club and if their decision to sell the player they can fix any price they want.
