Thankfully this is just a rumour, I was scared reading this because if we can't get Aubameyang then I'm afraid we (Chelsea) won't have a successful season not with the players we're depending onat the front for goals. Imagine we have started to rely on defenders again to get the goals for us this season. Havertz isn't looking confident at the front, his general game play is fine but goal threat is zero. Chelsea needs to up the offer, Aubameyang once played with Thomas Tuchel so I believe, it's just the fees that's obstructing this deal to go through.

Aubameyang shoudn't think he can compete with Luwadusaksi, that guy is a goal beast and immediately he pick form, there's no going back. Leo Messi returning to Barcelona would be great news for the catalan Fans as they still want their GOAT back. Even Barcelona President, Joan Laporta showed interest for Messi coming back. It is my understanding that they have offered £16 million for this player. Moreover, I have also heard that the negotiations with both the player and the club seem to be on positive terms at the moment. It is clear that West Ham United is really trying to get this player on board with the team. In my opinion, I don't understand why Barcelona did not allow Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to leave for 12 million euros. He was a free member of the Barcelona squad when he joined. As a result, almost anything that can be done to get this player is going to be worth it. There is no doubt that Barcelona is going to do everything in its power to get as much money for him as possible. It is especially important for them right now because they are in the midst of a financial crisis. In spite of this, I don't think any team is going to pay 23 million for him at this point in time. I think that de jong should not stay in Barcelona right now. He should move and obviously Manchester United was not the right time for him. but I believe that Chelsea can be a really good team for de jong. And a player like him who is young and has really good potential is always going to get a chance and be the attraction of many clubs.

Chelsea prolly want Aubameyang for two reasons, they need a striker, there is none currently at the club, and another reason is that they prolly have not been able to scout a high profile striker just yet and time is running out, or maybe they have, but the asking price is too much, and considering the fact that they have spent too much money in this transfer window already, they are unwilling to pay too much for any player again, thus they are now interested in Aubameyang. I'm pretty sure they'll be surprised by the asking price Barcelona are placing on him, they'd have expected he come cheaper than that, i also think he doesn't worth that right now.
