This is indeed a smart move by the Real Madrid team. I am always surprise when I hear that teams like Barcelona that has a team filled with experienced players are still looking towards signing more aged and expensive players. Real Madrid shoudn't focused all their scouting on Brazilian players, I understand they're skillful but lets not forget they enjoy partying too much and if they're together in one club that can be dangerous as they'll want to go hangout instead of concentrating on playing soccer. It seems like that madrid was focusing to regenerate its players. The striker has become the main problem that has not yet fixed. Martinelli is the best option for the striker role on a temporary bases in the absence of Gabriel Jesus, he has the pace and very sharp as well as a good dribbler, he had played that role before and did fairly well thereafter deployed to the wing or flank, I am not a fan of Nketiah however I think the best option for Arteta is to continue to deploy  Nketiah as a substitute, there is no need to sign another expensive and experience striker in January or alternatively if Arsenal can sign an experience unattached striker in the transfer window on a temporary role that will be better, however I doubt if such a striker will perfectly fill the role of injured Gabriel Jesus in the team.
