IMHO, it is completely unlikely that Yassine Bounou will move to FC Bayern for €50m. Especially since Manuel Neuer's future has not been clarified. Bayern is not a club that spends enormous sums on short-term solutions.

Who knows? Manuel Neuer isn't getting any younger and the new signing may continue with his World cup magic all the way into Bundesliga and even end, dethroning Neuer. 31 isn't a bad age for a goalkeeper. He can easily do 3-4 years if he is good enough.

I don't think they would give Bounou such a high transfer fee.  Since he is 31 years old, Bayern will need a goalkeeper again in a few years.  They need a player like Kahn, Neuer, who will protect Bayern's castle for many years to come.  That's why I think they are looking for a young and quality goalkeeper.  They still have time for that.  They may find what they are looking for.

Blame it on the world cup, it hyped up his name and probably the price tag too. I don't think so many people knew of Bounou before the start of the tournament.

Ferran Torres to Barcelona was a shocking transfer to me, I didn't see it coming and until now I still wonder why Manchester city opted to sell Ferran Torres to Barcelona knowing how good he was playing for Manchester City. Too bad he is struggling for games at Barcelona, I bet he will be wishing he had stayed back and remained at Manchester city where he was getting enough game time. Good news for him, Arteta seems to be interested in Ferran Torres as a prospective replacement for Gabriel Jesus.

Ferran Torres is a precocious player, but the truth is that he was not getting enough playing time in Manchester City, back then Pep even opted to play without a striker, sending Ferran Torres way down the pecking order at City, he saw an opportunity to move to a club like Barcelona and he took it, City saw the money Barcelona were offering and they had to take it, both parties were happy. Before that I didn't really know about this Brazilian wonderkid but when Real Madrid signed him then it was definitely the right choice, I hope Endrick doesn't suffer the same fate as other players and is able to make a real contribution to the club. Most young players at Real Madrid if they don't get minutes they will be on the bench or loaned to other clubs. Like Martin Odeegard he had no place in Real Madrid's starting line-up which made him now better at Arsenal and captain of the team nicknamed the Gunners.
