This rumor has resurfaced again It's not really that strange when you see this rumor, but what is certain is that this will bring up a long drama after the previous transfer. The old story popped again. First there was talks about Bayern interested on signing him then there is discussions about a move to ManU and that De Jong is happy to join them.
Well, Barcelona will be more than happy to get ride of his salary to bring other players in their list while he might improve ManU squad.
ManU is hunting Marcus Thuram too who will not cost them much.

Mirror says that Frenkie de Jong has told Erik ten Hag about his being willing to join for Manchester United now.

However this doesn't seem convincing news to me. Because it didn't seem like de Jong was that much eager to leave last summer. A couple of teams were rumoured with him then. Manchester United even negotiated terms with Barcelona but they couldn't agree on the transfer fee. de Jong didn't say even for once like he wanted to leave. Xavi also said that he would like to see him in the lineup. And now he is still a regular player in the starting eleven. While he doesn't have any problem with his playing time and Barcelona are in a better condition than Manchester United also, I don't see any reason for de Jong to wish to leave suddenly.

If this was at the time when Barcelona was not performing well and the future in Barcelona, for any player was under threat, I could have agreed that probably Frenkie De Jong did agree to go to Manchester United.

But right now, when Barcelona is at the top of the table and doing quite well in La Liga and he is also playing as the first team player in Barcelona. It is hard to imagine him living right now. Frankie De Jong can't get regular position with Barcelona in this season although his team on the top standing position in La Liga, I don't think happy situation trough Frankie De Jong more in the bench than become regular position. Could be rumor for Frankie De Jong want get new challenge at other team guarantee he can get more minutes playing than stay with Barcelona.

I think he has potential with great player and missing regular position I think bad reputation for him, but until World Cup over he still not official confirming want to leave Barcelona and join with Manchester United in next window transfer. It's better if you were reading the latest news about that. it seems like that de jong reconsider the second offer from united. Barcelona wants him to leave from the club and it seems like that you will see MU paid lots of money to make him leave from barcelona. It was unfortunate for France to not have Benzema in their squad. He was ruled out due to injury that he sustained in the pre World Cup training camp. A thigh injury. France did not replace him for the squad though and were 1 man short for their title defense. On top of that, Benzema has had sour relations with Deschamps. The fact that if aubameyang didn't have impressive result during his season in chelsea. He was still a half of season in chelsea but he has not even showed an impressive performance.
