I think what you said is the same as what I got regarding De Gea's information. because this player was unemployed last season, not because he was not in demand and did not receive offers. David de Gea is a legend goalkeeper that has done very well in his career right from his youth age at Atletico Madrid to his former club Manchester United, he have won good number of titles with the both team before he left Manchester United due to some issues with Ten Hag and his contact expiration at the end of 2023 season. He has been a free agent for complete season because he was actually expecting huge pay just as he was getting from United, and no small team can manage to pay him that amount and no big team has came for him since then; I think he is now ready to accept small payment because he is 33 years and no big team will rely on 33 year old goalkeeper especially now that the young players has taken over football.

Well, lucky him to have a better team compared to the Genoa. I was surprised when De Gea strongly linked to the Genoa, and he is getting a better club to play. And again, this is a very cool transfer from Fiorentina to recruit him as a new goal keeper. One of United fans favourite goal keeper.

Good news for David de Gea.

It seems he is aware that previous salary demands have resulted in setbacks in negotiations so to minimize that De Gea is trying to be more reluctant in making a more normal offer for the salary he will receive later.
At least for now he is at Fiorentina so he again gets the opportunity to be able to compete even with an age that is not too young but this is still quite appropriate for De Gea to be in Serie A.
