I didn't even know Fiorentina was interested in De Gea.    I only heard about Genoa but they gave up on the transfer after so-called high salary demand. I wonder how much he wanted from them.

I know Solanke right from his days as a Chelsea player and even when he was at Liverpool till last season that he had his breakthrough season and never has he shown enough result to be considered a striker that should cost past £50m. However, Tottenham Hotspur management knows how important he is to their plans for next season and I hope Solanke delivers for them.

I don't know which one will happen but I think Chelsea wants some titles or results, not money because they already have the money. Whoever is the person in charge of these transfers, that person isn't someone who is looking to get results today, it's someone who looks to be good,, even great in the future. I can't believe it, how many players have been recruited by Chelsea so far? Are they planning to have two or more teams in the same club? Pedro Neto is an injury-prone player, and it is also a giant red flag for him. I don't know why Chelsea was recruiting him from Wolves. This recruitment is not that bad, but it's not that good as well.

He was just not great for Real Madrid alone during his playing days but also did for both Club and Country. Finally, his hard work paid off and was seen as one of the best defenders during the recently ended Euros Championship.

If you look at football now, sometimes it is confusing because the price for a player can change so quickly and maybe if you look at the quality and experience, the price could be said to be too high or too low. But the price of £50 million is not too high and in my opinion it is quite commensurate with the quality even though if you look at the quality of scoring goals, it is still less than other strikers.

Sometimes coaches also have an impact on players and it depends on how they can utilize the players' skills. Solanke needs to prove his best quality because perhaps his performance was not so consistent last season so this season will be a good start for him to develop further.

While I agree that he is a decent player, I am not entirely sure that I believe he is THAT good, like not 65 million worth player, we are talking about a huge huge price there and the fact that they are willing to spend this much on the player shows that they are not just buying him for what he is today, but they are buying him for what he could be, he is not that old and if he shows himself to be a great player, then the price will be worth it.

However, for that kind of money, he needs to provide something huge for the team and do a lot better, like actually be invaluable to the club and do something huge, they can't just end up being "decent" level player, he needs to be a star in that club if he actually deserves that kind of amount.

pep was indeed a true legend in the world of football. He is one player that did too well throughout his prime and even when he approached the age of retirement, his passion was still top-notch. I knew he had plans of retiring after the euros when he cried seriously after they lost against france at the Euros quarter finals. Time is really running too fast and gradually, most of our top legend are gradually exiting our screen and a new era has fully began for us to embrace the generation that's coming. The latest report that I have heard about Mikel Merino is that Arsenal have already agreed a fee of £17million with his club Real Sociedad, and that it just remains the final details to be agreed on, but he is expected in Arsenal for medicals shortly.

£17million for a player like Mikel Merino is a very good business for Arsenal.

Though even the best have to change, Pep is a fantastic manager; with these FFP issues hovering over City, Pep has to make a decision.

Staying at City is a risk. Should such charges be valid, there might be anarchy. Pep prefers consistency and a stage on which to grow. Like England, national team employment offers that. In this season transfer market, Spurs are not very active in hunting players, but once they are active they make reckless purchases by spending more than 50 million just to bring in Solanke. I don't care if his statistics are good because he collected 19 goals with Bournemouth. Spurs are one of the clubs that are monotonous and stingy about transfer fees, maybe this time they are a little jealous seeing other clubs active in the market and trying to add new strength. What is clear is that I will not expect much from Dominic Solanke move to Spurs.
