The Romelo Lukaku deal to Napoli is almost sealed if not already by now. It appears that as the days get closer to the end of the transfer window we'll be seeing much deals sealed that were earlier lingering in controversy and uncertainty. Before we talk about competing with Pep Guardiola you have to examine the team, Chelsea need to change their mentality and the coach need to change his too because I don't see why Enzo Maresca would make such comment about nobody told him to win trophies or finishing top 4, is just to change the team. Putting away any bias, Nunez will be a good signing. He makes the right runs on and off the ball, drags defenders to create space for his team mates, has shot power, has really good pace, can play LW, RW and CF, he’s always fit and available, and he’s just 25 years old with time to improve.

Lol, they have now made the signing of players a big business in Chelsea. Is the new owner really concerned about the success of the team going forward at all? In as much as Victor Osimhen have been told by the manager of Napoli Antonio Conte that he's surplus to requirements at the club and is very open to leaving the club this summer, I don't think the Nigeria striker will accept an offer to go play in the Saudi Pro League unless he wants to choose money over quality football. At this point, the number of players in Chelsea's first team has reached more than 40 people. Someone needs to stop this owner Todd Boehly. If only there were a law to impose a transfer ban on Chelsea  . Competition for the goalkeeper position at Chelsea is becoming fiercer than ever. With 7 goalkeepers in the current squad, adding Penders' appearance will take Chelsea to 8 goalkeepers. This leaves Maresca with a choice to make and one or two people will likely have to leave to ease the load on the area.
