Talks are ongoing with Frankfurt to sign Omar Marmoush. The player is already willing to join Manchester City forces. 

However the thing I have been curious about is whether he will be able to find himself a place in the starting lineup there. Because he is mainly a CF you know. But Manchester City has Haaland there and I think there is no way he is losing his shirt to anyone else.

This is why I think maybe Guardiola would like to try him on the left wing. He is right-footed and has really good scoring skills. He shouldn't be on the right wing as a result. On the left there are Doku and Grealish. There would be an interesting competition among these 3 players.

Omar marsmoush is a talented footballer that have potentials and it's a good thing that Manchester City wants to sign him and I’m sure under Pep Guardiola he is going to fulfill his potential. Omar Marsmoush is young, and he has the vision for scoring goals. All his technical abilities makes him a perfect feet for Manchester City. Hernández had offers from Real Madrid and Manchester United and since he was about to end his contract with his team he could even be linked to the other teams. Ac Milan made this decision specifically after the game against Inter Milan in which this player assisted Christian Pulisic in scoring the goal for this team.

Chelsea has sent 55 million offer for Guehi, but Crystal Palace rejected it. Crystal Palace has also confirmed they have no intention to let him leave this winter. And if rumours about Chelsea trying to sell  young talent Carney Chukwuemeka and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to fund Guéhi transfer then they will be making a mistake. Marc Guéhi is relatively younger player to Trevoh Chalobah and might be considered a better option but that doesn't mean as player compatibility also matters. I’m sure Trevoh Chalobah would want to prove himself at Crystal Palace.

Salary issues are often an obstacle, but it seems that Rashford's situation is not so favorable. As we know, Amorim is now not including Marcus Rasford in the list of players included in his plans. Looking at it from another angle, maybe he wants Liverpool to make a better contract offer with an enhanced salary? These days, players us their contract extension period as a time for them to force the club make better offers.

I don't think anything can bring City back into the title race, right now they have to look at other trophies and try to finish in the top four in the EPL, they are too far away from Liverpool, and Arne Slots team is not looking like slowing down at all.

That said, City are already busy in the transfer market this month, they want to sign a couple of players, they are close to signing Victor Reis from Palmeiras, Khusanov from Lens and Omar Marmoush from Frankfurt, these are good signings that will help City, both now and in the future.

Manchester City's main problem is not the defence, it's the midfield. They don't have a hardworking midfield. A midfield should consist of a ball-winner and technical players. Rodri was the ball winner and he was also very technical on the ball so he was very crucial for them. Since he got injured, the midfield has been exposed.
Getting a defender will help Manchester City a lot, but they still need a midfielder. If they cant get a natural DM, they can try to get a central midfielder that is hardworking and a ball winner, that way they can have control of the midfield. They also need a winger too.

You have a point here, but do you actually think that City's problem is there defense?, well i can't put it much like that, and here is my reasons.

What most people don't know is that Manchester city isn't that perfect as we all think. Fine, they've been the strongest team for some years now, but they still lack that perfection. If you've taken your time to observe, you will notice that they always concede goals in most of their games, i.e, Manchester city is a side that always struggle to keep clean sheets. But those that stop them from winning?. No, it doesn't. Their agenda is primarily to win games, even if it has to be a one goal margin.

So the current defensive issue they're facing right now is not from the backline(because the system has been built that way), but it's from the DM position. surprisingly, Manchester city hasn't go for a DM in this transfer window. From the few players that they've agreed personal terms with, none of them plays a in the DM  position, which is somethin i'm actually surprise about.

I think they will prioritize midfielders for the beginning of the transfer but they seem to try to strengthen the defense first, although indeed for Khusanov, who is a young player, he still has a lot of patience because in terms of competition in defense now for Mancehster City it is quite difficult.

We know that Akanji and Ake are sometimes very difficult to replace but especially in the same position there are still Stones and now Walker is also more often positioned at the center of the defender after Manchester City tried to regenearate the full defender with Lewis who in fact this could be one of the young players who can be projected for their future.
So in the end Khusanov must try harder if he really wants to be in the main line up because there are so many players who have great potential but this is also not a mistake to be at Mancehster City because however some of the current players for the defense are quite old and maybe they could leave in the near future like Walker who is 34 years old now even though his speed and quality are still quite good in the Manchester City defense.
