Apparently, the transfer of player Joao Cancelo to Inter will go ahead, on a six-month loan. The player is at odds with his current club and wants to return to Europe. If the deal goes through, Inter will have a replacement for Dumfries for the next six months.
The Saudi club will pay half of the player's salary.

Dortmund always sells players who are able to perform consistently, especially players who also have the ability to lead attacks. He is quite agile as a winger and can penetrate when the opponent tries to press, so selling a player who can play in several positions would be detrimental for Dortmund. Arsenal and Manchester United are indeed interested in the player, but I believe Arsenal may be much more serious about signing him, as Arteta needs a versatile player to improve the team's cohesion.

I agree that Arsenal will be more serious in signing Adeyemi because of his versatility since he can perform in multiple positions. Arsenal always has a problem when a winger or a center forward goes on injury so Adeyemi can handle such situation and since he has consistently featured in 22 games for Dortmund this season it means that he is unlikely to get injured easily, those are the type of players Arsenal needs so that they won't have to be facing many challenges when players begins to get injured. We already know that Dortmund is always fond of selling their major players after they have been developed in the team so it's not new anymore.

Well, I do not understand this. I thought he was performing well for Manchester United. I really don’t know why Manchester United starts selling the players who perform well for them. They did the same thing with Cristiano Ronaldo and they are also doing the same thing now with Bruno Fernandes. And it’s not like he is too old to play for Manchester United. He is only 31 years old. I will say that Manchester United not performing well is not a single player problem, it is actually the problem of the club. They are going through a very rough time which cannot be corrected by changing only a single player or even only the coach.

This news item appears incomplete without the addition "a specific player will be acquired in exchange." If you are selling a key midfield player, you should be able to see at least a similar replacement. I wonder (in a fantasy sense) if Fernandes could follow in Kane's footsteps?   Fernandes has a decent list of trophies with the national team, but thanks to his commitment to United, he has few club trophies. It would be great if he could rectify that in his remaining years.

I don't understand either why they should sell the only player that has been constantly playing well over these tumultuous years. He's not performing as he used to, he's getting older of course, but he still is one of the few players the manager can really count on. And he is Portuguese, just like the manager, so that is weird, usually managers always like players from their own country because they have a deeper connection.

Also, for that amount of money I don't know which European club could be interested, the only option would be Saudi Arabia. I don't see PSG, Bayern Munich or Barcelona paying 50-60 millions for a 32 year old player.

Actually, he still has very good potential when he is young but when he has exceeded the productive age his career becomes less clear because he cannot show his performance well and always loses in terms of competition with several other players.

Cancelo has good versatility but when the club doesn't match his playing criteria it makes him worse than expected and in recent seasons the loan club hasn't exactly matched his criteria either.
At Al Hilal he is a bit of a looker because perhaps the competition is not as tough in Europe and a return to a big league like Serie A could again boost his performance if he can maximize it well but other news is that Barcelona are also interested in bringing this player back to Camp Nou.

Cancelo is a great player with great skills. The Manchester City manager made a mistake letting him go, and I say the same for Barcelona. I hope Inter don't waste this good opportunity to sign Cancelo; it would improve Inter's performance even more. They shouldn't waste a good player like Cancelo. I still remember the time he was at Barcelona with João Félix; when he played, he created good opportunities, he had speed, and Barcelona lacked players to keep up with him.

The plenty of Chelsea fans in your country don't represent the global chelsea fans. The fact that Maresca was so stubborn with his tactic, but he's not the one needs to be blamed. From what I learnt about the development with João Cancelo, he's certainly gonna leave Al Hilal this winter but which big European club will he be joining is the problem at the moment. I think he's most likely to join Inter Milan ahead of the other clubs that's been showing interest in him. Barcelona is showing interest for only a loan deal while Inter is the club that can permanent his deal at the expiration of the loan deal.

Dortmund are starting to reopen their business,   although I don't quite like the business they run, because I want to see them win the Bundesliga title, but I salute the fact that they always manage to manage potential players to resell. We will judge whether they made the right call or wrong call after the new coach who will replace him has settled in and managed a few games. "Until 2027"? How possible is that please. I want to believe that it's a typo error, that you actually wanted to type 2027 since we're not going back but forward. It's great to have the Germany international back to the English Premier League and to the club that he's made over 200 appearances for. I do not expect to have him repeat the same impressive performances he had in his first spell at the club but he can still match that same level performance if the abilities are still intact.
