I know the OP stated that this wasn't critical, but how do you clear out this warning? Huh

Code:
Warning: unknown new rules activated (versionbit 0)

We have the segwit online since block 3000. But some miner works with the old versionbits. We wait until block 10000  (HF). In the release version is this warning offline. You can redownload your wallet.

Hello again. Everything start to make sense. I am building a rig for BTX (without SLI) In my country we dont have powerfull AMD GPU's, so i will buy NVIDIA. I have two options:
Gpu with 3gb of memory
or
Gpu with 6gb of memory (+40eur price)
Now block size is 10mb, but in future it will be 20mb.

I am testing MSI 1060 (OC 113%) 3gb (30%  of gpu memory used max) in ccminer shows ~11.20MH
in a pool stats it shows 8.10MH~14.00MH
Tested as well 860m 3.20MH, in a pool stats it shows 2.50MH ~ 3.50MH

So my main question is:
Should i buy GPU with 3gb?
or
Should i buy GPU with 6gb?
Because if 3g wont be enough in future, i will have problems.

Thanks for your help again, i will help others a lot in future. Smiley Smiley

I just bought a Asus GTX 1060 oc 3gb and in ccminer shows ~10.21 mh/s and in suprnova it shows 9-10 mh/s

I am mining in supernova, u can overclock it even more. . I'm just interested, now, if i buy 9 x 1060 OC 3gb (i will connect them on 1 motherboard).. ( i have 1 1060 gpu, ordered another) does it share memory without SLI in ccminer? Even Ether soon will only support gpus with more than 3gb memory, so gpu's with 3gb wont work.. And i cant find clear info about this.

what are the ports for bitcore? ... i cant seem to find them anywhere mate? ...

rpcport=? ...
port=?

also - what is the correct spelling of the bitcore conf file ( caps or all lowercase ) and what do we need to have setup in that conf so that we can solo mine it? ... it seems to be non standard for solo - than most other coins ...

You have a very interesting coin. I understand, tell me where else you can wait for the exchange? Get it for a long time. Good luck with your project !

Kindly checkout the pool - http://neonpool.sytes.net for BitCore mining. Very low fee (1%) with no additional charge for coin withdrawal. Auto payouts every hour once balance reaches minimum required. Like other BitCore pools, pool will show a bit lower hash rate compared to the mining software but the submitted shares count will be correct.

@christian ...

the various settings in the conf are not working for solo ...

as you know - i am no novice here - and want to solomine for testing purposes ...

but it seems that no matter which way we go with the settings - i end up with the same or similar error ...

Code:
[2017-06-15 00:37:24] JSON-RPC call failed: Method not found
[2017-06-15 00:37:24] get_work failed, retry after 30 seconds

[2017-06-15 00:39:54] get_work failed, retry after 30 seconds

has getwork protocol been removed completely from this daemon / wallet? ...

have you got it solomining correctly? ...

if so - what are the contents of the bitcore.conf file you are using so i can replicate please? ...

altcoins based on recent bitcoin versions do not have the getwork method.
ccminer needs it for solo mining.

is there a change we can make to create an internal stratum system in the code? ... or is that too much damned work Smiley ...

best way, IMHO, is making your own pool.
then you can re-use it on other coins in the future.

agreed ...

but the stratum we use is a python / c++ stratum - which requires the bitcore algo hash to be installed ( ie - created then installed ) ...

so unless there is someone that can code this for python hash install - then we cant make the pool for it ... the dev that can is busy as hell at the moment - and LOTS of algos need to be coded for it ...

you know who can? ... or has the hash? ...

once we have that - a pool can be made in a matter or hours ...

actually you don't need a full pool, just a stratum/getblocktemplate proxy.

OR, we could help tpruvot add getblocktemplate support to ccminer.
