I think there is a problem with your wallet because I was mining on https://pool.sumokoin.com/ and I mined 281 sumokoin and you can check my address is "Sumoo4HS4diMPerPWKETgiFjxMXjsWr2eJSUgCE99kkTJPrMUnx7Lk1WJVY2fCTWfdhyxpFdas3vmMx q8Tr6SdTmEYpSkpc5kkb"
and when I installed the graphic wallet and restored what I has using the list of words I got only 185 sumokoins
It says that the last block is 21300 is that's not correct how can fix the problem?

Do you use GUI wallet or binary one? If later, please make sure you've downloaded the latest version v0.1.2.0 here:

https://github.com/sumoprojects/sumokoin/releases/tag/v0.1.2.0

I downloaded it today from the official website so it is the gui wallet.
the block is stopped at 21300 and it says it is fully synced. what can I do to fix that?

I'm using the GUI wallet downloaded from https://www.sumokoin.org , it's Version 0.0.1, and it works fine.
Network syncs fairly quickly and is currently at block 50599 , same as blockchain explorer.

Any ideas how to fix it?
i delete all in "C:\ProgramData\SumokoinGUIWallet\config" just leave "wallet_info.json" then run again. sory my english not well.

At this moment, 85% of Sumokoin's are held by the developers.  This is 10% of the total coins mined in the next 20 years.  I understand the need for pre-mine but this seems a bit absurd doesn't it?  How can I trust that this pre-mine isn't short-sighted in nature?

Not spreading fud.  I'm currently mining this and want it to succeed but this is a real concern of mine.

Well, you can't. But the wallets are locked quite a long time (mid 2018 till mid 2020). Make up your mind and decide if the coin and the dev seem legit to you.  At least a premine is still way better than an ico (at least my opinion).

So the dev's can't access all/a part of the pre-mine?  I appreciate a mid-2020 lock-out period but I think that would be TOO long.  I mean, you want the pre-mine to be used as an incentive and tool to further develop the coin.  Hopefully its a ladder where they get access to like 10% of the distributions as they are mined.

I don't think that's a good idea. I think the wallet is in the "wallets" folder, probably the one named "7fb*****854.bin".
Do not delete anything just rename it something like "SumokoinGUIWallet_OLD", so if anything goes wrong you still have the original files, then reinstall SumokoinGUI, then copy the 'OLD' wallet folder into the new wallet folder.
This is just a suggestion, do it at your own risk. If you have deleted the folder, you might be able to restore it from your recycle bin - if you need to.

Can someone explain to me why 60 confirmations are required for this coin?  The block time is 4 minutes so that comes out to 4 hours.  That seems like a long time.

This looks like an interesting coin. Can anyone explain why it's moved up so quickly in such a short time?

it is interesting and im mining 24/7.

The more people find that thing interesting, the more people gonna buy it. But atm the price is flipping arround from 0.30$-0.60$.
f.e. :
100 Coins / 1 Purchaser = cheap price
1 Coins / 100 Purchaser = high price

Hopefully it becomes one of the big cryptos in future.

Can this coin be mined via CPU? If possible, I'd like to use my spare laptop to mine it.

Any idea what the right config in afterburner to mine this coin in 1070? Thanks

Im running a 1080 TI and as I can see, there is no important change when you OC. I just got higher TDP.

Hello,

I've 2 problems:

1. I received the first payment more than 24hours ago, and several payments after that. But my wallet until now still shows balance 0.0000000. I've uninstalled GUI wallet and deleted everything and reinstall, rescan blockchain ... but it is still zero.
2. I run GUI wallet on my Win7 laptop and it stucks at Processing wallet, Height#:0 forever.

Does anyone have any idea about these issues?

Thanks.

1. Try to delete folder C:\ProgramData\sumokoin and restart wallet.

2. Did you save wallet mnemonic seed words? If so, please try to restore wallet using the seed word.

Hi,

I did it already, deleted both sumokoin and sumokoinGUIWallet folders, re-install and restore using mnemonic seed word but it doesn't work.

btw, I just try to run v0.1.2.0 "Hokkaido" console wallet and this is the output when I run sumokoind:

Good to know. Is there a tutorial that I can follow to set up my laptop to mine SUMO? I've never mined before, but I think that this would be a great one to begin with.
