I'm not too familiar with the Waves platform, and was wondering, will we be able to send those placeholder tokens to an exchange (say Bittrex)? These tokens won't differ from the official ones when the blockchain is released?

I have read the WGR japanese page registered in the language list.

[ICO] [WGR] | Wagerr | チェーンブロック賭け
https://bitcoingarden.org/forum/index.php?topic=15153

The sentence is very bad and I can not understand it at all.
The person who created probably uses machine translation.

I’m Japanese
but I can not understand your translation

He also points out.
You should learn more Japanese. Im native Japanese and my translation in high quality as well

The fact that it is on bitcoingarden - the place where people "translate" ann threads just for the bounty makes me think that it really isnt understandable.

Is there any third-party escrow for the ICO tokens? I didn't see any information about this in the whitepaper or maybe I missed it. Thank you!

LOL people are crazy. Maybe we are in a bubble, tons of money coming in that don't read whitepapers and expect an ICO to be listed on Poloniex and making millions BEFORE IT EVEN ENDS

All is clearly stated. Current ICO price is .08 USD. ICO target was only round 1. We are currently in round 16, about to move to round 17 of 20.

Holy cow!  What happened to this thread the last couple of days  Huh

Anyone that is thinking about investing needs to do the following:

1.  Read the FIRST page of this thread.
2.  Read the White Paper.
3.  Go to the wager website and read EVERY page.  Great overview of their longterm plans.
4.  Join the WGR slack channel, and ask questions there.  The devs have been very helpful, and are online to answer your concerns directly.

Can the developers give a break up of how these funds would be spent?

The target seems to be quite a lot, so a break up should be necessary at the moment.

section 11.0 and Page 29 of the whitepaper lines this out.

10% Marketing
5%  Legal
5%  Accounting
5%  Consultants
75% Developers

However, i have read David said that with the extra rounds this moves 20% to marketing and 65% to dev.

Even Bitcoin is a big fat ugly bubble by logical assessment. All coins are ridiculously stupid bubbles. But Wagerr is surely not, at least at this moment.  When it goes live, even 1 Dollar price definitely shouldn't be a bubble.

Because, the way of betting now is totally changed since Wagerr. The more reserved betting capital a bettor has, the more advantage he's in, due to the effect of value-coupling, the burned 1-2% fees to cover up his losses. Hence, bettors would instinctively keep their betting capitals in Wagerr instead of bank.

In this case, even when Wagerr turns into a 30 dollars fat ugly bubble, bettors would still be even happier to rush for it. Because it is simply the best way to bet sports.  The faster Wagerr's rising momentum in price, the better it is for sport betting. For this reason, Wagerr would become the safest coin on Earth with the smallest and shortest dropping curves.

This phenomenon will end only if the next better value-coupling coin appears. Therefore it is utmost important for them to develop their own fiat exchange now to secure their market position. Now they have just suggested their direct multi-coins and fiat wallet and exchange. if they can make it come through, Wagerr would replace paper currencies on Earth.

So, the actual process of betting on the Wagerr chain burns up tokens - like a small percentage right?  Are these replenished in any way?  Or will the amount of coins just diminish further and further as time goes on.

Also, will it act like an exchange whereby you have to have someone Backing and Laying a selection simultaneously or will Wagerr act as the house?

Lastly, is there any idea of which markets and which sports will be on offer?  Asian markets are huge and must be tapped into.  Football (Soccer) and Cricket amongst others.

I guess I could join a Slack or some such and ask such quesions unless someone knows the answer here.
