Hey Guys,
I know that many of you are frustrated, by I realized that Gigawatt is just facing problems for lack of planning and predictability.
However, it's just a matter of time now that january and february batches get deployed.
I have 4 Antminers S9 for Batch 6. Payed USD 2,020 each.
I am willing to sell for personal reasons. I would wait a little longer if I could.
Anyone on the buying side interested, let me know.
Regards!

For those with mining experience, I have a few questions if anyone could help: Giga Watt is currently selling an Antminer D3 Dash Miner with PSU included for $1,800 on their website. The power consumption is 1275W. First question, how many tokens do I need for 1,275W? If I remember correctly, I'd need just over 1,400 tokens, but I'm not positive on that so just curious. Second, I see the same Antminer D3 Dash Miners on Amazon, brand new, for less than $500. Here's one example: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07573ZJ3D/ref=ox_sc_mini_detail?ie=UTF8&psc=1&smid=ATYD8270939LYIs there any difference between the two? I don't think the Amazon one comes with a PSU, but those don't seem to be more than $200. Here's one with a PSU for $644: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0785DK2CG/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?smid=A10U3NT2NHJTWG&psc=1As I already have more than 1,400 tokens, could I in theory buy the Amazon Antminer, a PSU, and ship it to Gigawatt? It would seem to be a LOT cheaper than the current $1,800 price. I'm not criticizing Giga Watt because I'm probably wrong, and I realize selling miners is probably their main long-term business strategy, just curious why there's such a steep price difference.

you need 1275W + 10% = 1402.5 WTT $1,800 is an old price from 2017 IMHO with a D3 you never get the ROI, look rather an S9 or L3+ at Bitmain and send to gigawatt external miner hosting will be possible only from July (according to gigawatt customer service) PS: stats from my D3 @ gigawatt (with wtt) mining: 0.0064 hosting: 0.0024 total: 0.004

New building update The H frame arrived to Pangborn facility. We have set the concrete pads for it and formed and pouring concrete to placeholders tomorrow. The main line energized. We are proceeding few amendments to engineering plans for mobile substation setting so PUD can approve it in next 2-3 days. Our switchgear is in transition and should be arriving beginning of next week. Once it will be here we will do all the wiring. The rest of equipment requested by PUD was ordered at different vendors to speed up process for permanent power hook up but with mobile substation approval it should not hold us from energizing the site.

Is gigawatt still around? I've sent two follow up emails through support regarding when I can send my machines since I'm batch 4 & was told a while back that it should be ready by end of March or April. Getting no response at all. If its another delay...Fine I'm cool with that. Just need to know what is going on with the project is all.

Where do you see L3+ for sale at Giagwatt? I only see D3, S9 and A200.

Pangborn Development Site VWork continues building out the Giga Watt facilities at Pangborn MAY 4 We have hit our depth of 500 feet for our grounding well and the PUD has signed off on the resistance test that was done. We can now begin backfilling the substation site and prepare it for connecting it to the grid and asphalt. The company that provided our H-Frame made a mistake on the holes that fit into our concrete columns, they are currently working on a quick solution and we will hopefully have it fixed and installed next week. Our curbs and sidewalks have been formed and poured and next week we will have asphalt being laid as our site will be nearing completion. The Chelan county PUD is putting a lot of pressure on the county to discontinue home mining operations and some of that FUD is tightening up restrictions and regulations in our county. Giga-Watt is continuing to work closely with Douglas county PUD to ensure that we get this site up and running as quickly as possible. The PUD assured us that they would be giving us a final checklist and approval of our plans for the mobile substation this week, but they have failed to deliver it and have now informed us they would approve the plans by 10am on Monday. https://medium.com/gigawatt/ipangborn-development-site-v-2a659eafa586

Don't think so. I guess they just don't want to offer miners while they are not sure about deployment terms.

excuses from one of the GW team:
We are sorry for all the inconviniences we may caused!
Please note that we are a startup and we are doing everything we can to meet the deadlines, but the problems we faced are hardly solvable even for big companies. The fact is that it's a completely new field of business and local authorities have never worked with such projects therefore contract negotiations take unpredictable amount of time.
And now the good news. We offer a set of unique features and energy prices that nobody does. In fact we don't have any direct competitors. Now we are finalizing the construction works and expect the pod to go live in two or three weeks. We are really doing our best to follow up on our promises and we once again want to thank the happy silent majority for being with us and supporting our project!
